The appartements where very nice; 2 bedrooms and a kitchen which we didn’t expact. It was very clean, the shower was nice and also the swimmingpool was very nice! We did’nt use the shuttle (little train) to Garda, but it is possible
I arrived here on a bus tour expecting an average hotel type setup, however I was very mistaken. This place literally has everything.
My apartment was is neat and clean with a lounge area, a dining area and a hidden kitchenette. The master bedroom is spacious with plenty of hanging space for your clothes. The other bedroom sleeps 2 and is also generous in size. The bathroom has a toilet, bidet, vanity and shower with a hairdryer.
The air conditioning is absolutely perfect cooling all the rooms to a point where I wore a jumper inside.
All apartments have a balcony with outdoor tables and chairs
The amenities at this property are phenomenal.
There is a huge dining room that serves buffet style for meals or order off a menu. The food is beautiful and the price is reasonable
The day spa on the property is luxurious. I had a sports massage with Alessandra, which I highly recommend. They offer a range of treatments including facials, manicure, pedicure, exfoliation, epilation. The wellness centre offers various baths and showers for relaxation.
The resort has a free shuttle bus into town.
Outdoor activities include a huge pool, football pitch, tennis courts, volleyball court, playground, a gym and so much more
This resort is surrounded by lush vinyards and as it’s on the side of a hill has beautiful views of Lake Garda
I wish I could stay here longer
Chose this hotel resort as it looked amazing for the price. It had mixed reviews but on arrival was very pleasantly surprised. Though the 2 bed apartment is 1 bedroom with 2 beds pushed together and a sofa bed with a pull out bed in the lounge area. The apartment itself was basic but clean and the beds were comfortable and looked like it had been redecorated. In reading reviews I brought some toilet roll with me but there was 1 in the bathroom.
We arrived at 9pm and checked in at the main hotel (apartment reception is next door along with a very basic shop) we were taken up to our apartment by the shuttle van which was great. There was no where to get food unless you wanted to walk out the resort and get a takeaway pizza from a nearby restaurant, so I packed some biscuits to tie us over til the morning.
There is a TV but it was Italian it German. There was WiFi but struggled to get it in the bedroom. The air con was brilliant and you could change the temp yourself. I would suggest bringing an extension lead as there are barely any plugs!
We didn’t eat at the hotel as dinner was 25 Euro’s each and breakfast was 14! You can get pizza for 6 euro in Garda!
The shuttle was great but best to pick non peak time.
The swimming pool was huge but you can’t use inflatables so leave them at home! You get a voucher for a pool towel which is great and you always got a sun-bed. They did water aerobics and water polo.
We did excursions to Venice and Verona and got a boat to sirmione and public bus to Malcesine. Bought cable car ticket from tourist info at the bus stop, glad we did as ticket queue was long at the cable car. We walked to the bus station that day as the shuttle doesn’t start til 9.30 and were advised to go early to cable car as queues can be 3 hours long. We got there at 10am and queued for an hour but it was worth it.
The only place you can use cash at the hotel is the little shop. When we checked out on the last day we put money on a card we could use at the pool restaurant until we were collected which worked well.
On checking out the local tax was about 20 euro and we weren’t charged for WiFi, air con, safe key, we weren’t asked for a 200 euro deposit like it states and the beds and towels were changed half way through the week which was great as we weren’t expecting that. I think management read the reviews!
Just one note, my Natwest debit card didn’t work in Italy even though I told them I was going abroad which was annoying as that’s where by holiday fund was. So make sure you have another card and cash.
All in all I think this is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location with lots of facilities if you need or want them and a great base.
The location was great for the the views and it was quiet at night when trying to sleep.
Would highly recommend the yoga classes, would try both classes, were outside under the trees in the perfect location, there was a warm and friendly instructor with lots of experience and knowledge!
The facilities inside the room were fine, shower worked well and the beds were comfortable and there was enough storage for clothes etc. There is a laundry service room and used the irons for free with no problems.
The members of the staff on the hotel reception were very friendly and one bar man named Martin in the pool bar was always helpful and provided excellent customer service.
Appeared to be activities for children however unable to review as have no children that attended them.
The shuttle bus service, provided mostly one bus into Garda, therefore waiting times were not the best. You either end up walking or get the local free shuttle bus, 15 min walk from the resort. Taxi normally costs about 10 or 15 Euros into Garda.
The food in the hotel was poor considering it was 4* resort. The breakfast was probably the best with lots of choice.
The service and system in the restaurant regarding sitting families together was disappointing. Mainly because of the poor attitude and lack of warm and friendly customer service by the staff. The most poor attitude was observed by the main waiter who organises the tables, he has black hair and looks stressed out, you can’t miss him.
The local shop, lack of stock such as toilet paper based on the number of apartments within the resort. Also you need to purchase your own bin bags for the rubbish. If you want more towels you need to pay and also make sure you empty everything from the apartment or you get fined.
The reception for the apartments - poor attitude from
staff when requesting and requiring assistance. A family member met with the manager and his response was that the lady on reception was shy. No real presence of management in the hotel and apartments. Most of the staff appeared to look miserable whilst working.
Would avoid staying in the apartments as not very well organised and it seems everything is based on making you pay extra money.
I was with families with children and they would not be returning to the apartments due to the poor services they provided.
Stayed here for 1 week as part of a group. I was given a 2 bedroom apartment which had all facilities for a self catering holiday although I was half board. It contained a fridge with freezer box, a microwave, 4 hob cooker, kettle and plenty of cutlery and crockery. The food was good with plenty of choice for breakfast, although sometimes the hot food was cold. Dinner was a choice of 3 starters and 3 mains which you always had plenty of. I found the staff to be very pleasant, friendly and hardworking. There was a flight of steps to the apartment I stayed in which I had no problem with but less able people might struggle with but you could be taken up by golf buggy. There was a large pool but as it was October was cold but people still sat around it and there were plenty of sunbeds. I didn't use any of the other facilities as I was out allday so can't comment on them. All in all I had a very nice stay here and would certainly go back.
