Although it's on a main street, our room was very quiet. Comfy bed and a choice of pillows. We had a balcony with a view of the sea. Delicious breakfast buffet and plenty of good coffee. Dinner was a set menu and a bit pricey but nicely prepared and presented.

If you travel to Bordighera, Villa Elisa is the place where you should stay. The town itself has charms, but Villa Elisa is the cherry on top. Rooms are spacious and modernized, while the downstairs parlors will make you want to invite Miss Marple for tea. It has the perfect balance between old-world beauty and up to date comfort. The staff is exceptional; Francesca and Katerina helped us with all our questions and needs. They will fix you a cappuccino or drink at any time. On our first day my husband and I overslept and missed breakfast. We asked only for a coffee, but Francesca also fixed us a plate of pastries and brought it to us in the garden. We had a superior room with a small balcony overlooking the town to the sea. Perfect place to watch the sun set. We fantasized about spending the whole winter there; alas, the hotel closes for several months during that time. This is now my favorite hotel ever.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the town. There is noise from the street if you leave your terrace doors...

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens and there is a large swimming pool. Breakfast is a delicious buffet style in a lovely dining room. The rooms are spacious and modern and the sea views are beautiful. Fast internet and nice and clean. I would stay here again. Nice walk to the historic district / beaches.

Villa Elisa is a lovely hotel, with a wonderful garden and poolarea, and a nice glassveranda where we ate breakfast. Breakfast was ordinary, but everyting was good and the family was satisfied.

The staff was very friendly, always smiling and helpful, they even did us some lunch outside the opening times and menu. We had absolute no complaints about cleaning.

The outdoorpool was open, but not heated at our visit in the end of September. Pooltowels was available at the room. We didn´t visit the spa, it seemed to expensive for the family.

We lived in a superior room (2 beds, 1 convertible armchair and 1 extra bed) That was maybe a bit too small for 4 persons with bags, but it worked for us. Our room also had a little balcony, and it was nice to open the doors to get in the atmosphere from outside into the room. Quiet at nights, good sleep.

The price was maybe a little too high in our opinion when we compare to other hotelstays, but maybe reasonable for the region? We liked the atsmospere and can recommend the hotel to other visitors to Bordighera.
