We stayed 3 nights here while diving in Porto. We picked this hotel due to low price and did not expect much. The room was small but A/C was working. Reception was manned only occassionally so when we wanted to check-out there was no one to be seen. Wi-Fi worked only couple of hours the first night but we have never seen anyone in the reception when we were around to ask. Staff spoke only limited English.
I've been to this area of Corsica at least 2 times. I know it gets very hot here on sunny days, so I always book a room with air conditioning. When I selected hotel Ideal I understood that they had AC. It even says it on the sign in front of the hotel.
My room's AC did not work so I went to the main desk to get the issue resolved. No one in sight to address my problem. I waited a good 10 minutes and still no one. A sign on the door directed me to a hotel 200 feet down the street for anything deal with my hotel, so down I went. I wanted a new room but was denied on the basis of there being none available. No compensation was offered for my problem.
I stayed here for 7 nights in Sept 2016. I found staff helpful and there was an English girl working there which helped, as my French is limited! Room was good size although shower small and no window. Breakfast was of good value and substantial. The pool is nice and quiet and car parking is available, but not obvious it is adjacent to the hotel. Resort is lovely with good restaurants.
We stayed here for 2 night and thank's good we escape.
This Hotel is ok if you are searching something cheap but for short period of time.
At the reception, nobody was waiting the client for the check in.
Once arrived, the clients are supposed to go and call someone else in another Hotel..
I found this ridiculous and not professional… plus when we found a girl at the reception she was just watching the phone and ignoring our request.
The pool is present but is closing at 19: so useless if you spend the day out.
The ROOM was really noise plus small, with the BED attached to the wall.
I do not advise to go in this HOTEL.
I guess we can say we were lucky, since we had enough space in our room, agreat view form the balcony (breath-taking sunset) and we also had air conditioning so we can close the window and have a quiet sleep. There is also a small swimming pool, quite nice when not too crowded. The breakfast (for 7 euros) is quite poor but it is very nice to sit on the terrace while having that. The hotel needs for sure a general refreshment but I would say that it is really OK for staying just a couple of nights.
