I have to say that I could not have had a better host than Angela. From arrival to departure 15 days later she was always around to help, have a chat, feed me home made biscuits and cakes, invite me for coffee on her veranda, she even gave me a Cypriot lentil dish for my supper. What a lovely lady, and her two daughters, especially Evelyn who runs the admin and web bookings as well as her day job. I felt like part of the family.
As others have said, the apartment block consists of 8 flats over 2 floors and all are very spacious. I was very happy with my ground floor 1 bedroom with a large veranda. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including iron and ironing board, good hairdryer, proper cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster plus every pot, crockery, implement you could think of. Aircon in bedroom, though I didn't use it as not needed. WiFi in all apartments, though it can be patchy as is the case wherever you stay. I really appreciate the welcome pack of fruit, soft drinks, chocolate, biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Plus very unusual to find washing up liquid, sponge and cloth, soap and handwash, toilet rolls and salt and pepper and other condiments. Small touches that are really welcome.
Sheets and towels changed every three days, pool water exceptionally clean.
Very convenient location just up from McDonald's bus stop, with small supermarket about one minute away. Fat Mamma's restaurant is next door and loads of other restaurants and bars and shops in easy walking distance.
Although Tomb of the King's Avenue is a busy road, the apartments were quiet and peaceful and the pool area was too.
All in all I think you get exceptionally good value for money, these apartments are homely and lived in, but if you want shiny new modern luxury then you won't find it in Cyprus at these prices!
