My husband and I stayed here for one day, our room was very cute and compact it had everything we needed in the heart of the town in between all the little stores. The lady was very kind and helpful. Wi-Fi did not work yours but was not a big deal.
Our stay was great and accommodating.
First of all the room is cheap which is why me and my friend booked it. It has a good location but you do get what you pay for.
When we arrived and was shown to our room which was tiny and on the top floor with a bathroom (smallest I've ever seen and can't actually sit on the toilet) on the balcony, we asked the owner if they had a room with two singles beds as that's what we booked online. Her response was something along the lines of "sometimes there is an error in the system". It was like the fob off from an IT department when they think your question isn't worth their time or they have stuffed up and hide behind such a phrase.
The walls are super thin and we heard every guest arrive back at all hours of the night. Also a major issue was how noise the air conditioning unit was, literally clunked randomly all night making it very difficult to sleep.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra 5€ for something nicer!
First and foremost this IS NOT for physically impaired people. After negotiating extremely steep stairs one is made very welcome by the owner very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the first floor in a room at the back twin beds and everything you could need for a short trip. Kettle, cups and Fridge in room along with a wardrobe and chairs a table to sit at. Small room but very adequate with a nice little balcony where you can sit also with A/C. Bathroom is very small and basic but great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Place is cleaned daily.
The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the harbour and all the bars and restaurants .
The down side to this hotel is the access and the noise at night from the streets when the stalls and shops close about 1am.
The rooms have paper thin walls...so the young French guys in the room next to my room....could be heard chatting non stop...creaky, squeaky wooden floors....not a great place if you are a light sleeper!
Small room😑
On the plus side, owner Xenia is lovely and helpful😊
Both Xenia and her son Mike were very nice and welcoming. I couldn't ask for kinder people. This hotel is in a great location in Chania, Crete, surrounded by shopping, restaurants and pubs. My room was in excellent condition. When I go back to Ghania, Crete, I will be staying at this lovely hotel again for sure!
