The house is located outside the bustling centre of Lagos. There're some restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was simple but cosy. The staff is super friendly :) And I really liked chilling by the pool after surfing :)

I found out about Casa Offshore when I signed in for some kitelessons at Extreme Algarve kite surf, which is located at the same spot. Even if it was high season, they managed to give me a bed in a 5 people girls dorm and I kind of fell in love with the place! It's very beautiful and made with lots of love and details, it's super clean and you have all you need. They offer everything from dorms til single rooms, there is a kitchen, a big common room, pool and a hot tube. Breakfast is included and all you need to start the day.
Denise and Ness, who are working there, are just lovely and make sure your stay will be unforgettable. They also organize dinner sometimes - go for the paella, it was great! I met a lot of good and interesting people - and it's a good place for solo travellers as well!
I can highly recommend you to stay at Casa offshore, especially if you are looking for kitesurfing or surfing...!

I want to go back!!!
I can easily say that my stay at the Casa Offshore and surf camp experience with Extreme Algarve exceeded my expectations!
I travel solo quite often and thought staying at the Casa Offshore with fellow surfers was a way better way to spend my time in Lagos than staying at Airbnb all alone....Well, I was not wrong about that.

There is a really cool and chill vibe at Casa Offshore. Ness and Denise run the place and they run it really good. They were super accommodating and attentive to my every need :) The "casa" itself was very clean and well-organized. It caters to every budget. If you want to spend less, you have an option to get a shared room and if you would rather pay bit more to have some privacy (still very affordable) you can either get your own room with en suite washroom or really nice single room with shared washroom. I decided to get a private room with shared washroom. My room had a lovely bed and really simple yet cute set up. My washroom was just outside my room in a little hallway (shared only with one other room). I really liked that my room had a door that I could use to walk out thru in the morning, to go into the garden or to a little building that was located nearby (common chill area and where breakfast was served in the morning). Breakfast was simple but always nice and fresh (fresh croissants with various spreads and freshly squeezed orange juice were my absolute favourites!).

I was there for about 5-6 days and surfed 4 days. Surfing and staying at Casa Offshore was extremely convenient and really fun. Picture this: 8 am delicious breakfast, around 9 am you head out to driveway of the casa where you get greeted by your (always happy) surf instructors, pick up your wetsuits, get into surf van and get driven to one of the many beautiful beaches nearby for a day in the sun while practicing surfing. How convenient is that? You spend few hours surfing, have a nice lunch with your new surf friends and instructors and head back to Casa Offshore to finish it with a nice swim in the pool and/or chill by the pool with a cold drink in your hand and chat with your fellow housemates, socializing and exchanging stories and/or bragging about your surfing accomplishments or lack thereof haha In the evening you go out to Lagos for a nice dinner and for couple of drinks (or more) to Three Monkeys (def recommend this spot). Old town Lagos is literally 10-15 min walk from the casa. On Mondays (I think) you are better off to stay in and enjoy paella & sangria night at the Casa Offshore. Whatever you do - DO NOT MISS OUT on that one! Our Spanish chef (I believe Edwardo) was the best and really cool to talk to as well! I mean, everybody there was just amazing. Aside from already mentioned Denise and Ness, I can't obviously forget about giving a huge shout out to Cam, Victor, Rohan and Ben, our amazing, helpful and oh-so-cool surf instructors (sorry guys if I somehow butchered your names :P). I just loved to talk to them and learn about all the countries they visited and all the cool experiences they had while surfing/travelling. I miss ya all! If you are lucky you will leave home with some cool surfing action shots of you made by Victor.
In conclusion, this is THE place to stay if you ever want to come to Lagos and surf. You won't be disappointed!

Overall we had a great experience with extreme! We did a one week surf camp and stayed at their surf lodge, which is a 10 minute walk from downtown Lagos. The house is beautiful and clean, with a hangout room, pool, kitchen, and comfortable rooms. Our room was private and very comfortable, with WiFi and a fan. The decor of the house and pool is surfer cute :)
The surf camp was 5 days of surf with a rest day and was mostly great. The only thing that isn’t great is that it depends on which instructor you are with for the day. While they do cap it at 24 students for three instructors, some groups like those getting green waves have three and a newby group may have like 13. The instructors range from being amazing, so helpful with personalized tips for progression and excellent teaching, to not giving tips/teaching and spending a large amount of time surfing themselves (though I understand that catching a wave here and there is fine and fun in the work day!). We got really attached to a couple
Of the instructors and loved talking with them on the car rides to the beach! Breakfasts at the house are lovely and plenty , lunches were tuna salad sandwiches and bean salads (very yummy but on occasion need to bring more food for the bigger groups!), dinners on your own most nights. Highly recommend joining the group dinners though!
Overall we loved our experience at EA and definitely recommend it. We learned to surf!

We loved this hostel. It was in the perfect location. Easy walking distance to the Old Town as well as to the beautiful beaches and cliffs. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The people were wonderful. Breakfast every morning was more than adequate, even for a vegan like myself. We loved the hot tub, and pool. Great restaurants in the area. Fantastic vibe overall. Would recommend.
