We are two friends who work full time and just want a relaxing getaway. This is our third time staying at these villas because it ticks all our boxes. Fantastic roomy two best villas with everything catered for. Lovely pool area and the poolside restaurant serves amazing food. Plenty of room around the pool. The old town is only a 7 euro taxi fare away. Already booked for next year! It’s now becoming a tradition!
Check in quick and easy although didn’t get into room until around 4.30pm so sat in pool bar. Was allowed to leave cases at reception. Lady in reception said I will Give you 1 key and iron and 3 remotes for tv and air on I. Lounge and bedroom for 20 euro deposit. Lovely spacious villas. Full kitchen. With washing machine and dishwasher. Tv in lounge only. Only news channels in English. Took fire stick as read that possible to connect. However not possible. Had a problem getting machine to work and receptionist came along and showed us what to do and all was good after that. Lots of ants on table and food area. 3-4 cats hovering around patio doors. So kept door shut. Spent a lot of time on roof terrace. Sun all day. And was beautiful. Not much view though. Bedrooms had plenty storage and safe if required. Toilet seat cracked when arrived and reported it and was fixed within 1 hour. Didn’t notice large crack on sink and was worried they may think we did it but all was good.
Fair walk from civilisation as we know it so taxi advised. 7.50 euro if booked from reception. 5 euro if booked privately.
Situated past Santa Eulália strip so spent a lot of time there as was easier. Small shop in reception and was above average in price but very handy.
Staff friendly and helpful speak many languages too.
Had a slight disagreement with reception on departure when handing key iron and remotes back in as was 7am different staff and was told I was given 2 keys and he showed me slip which had 2 keys recorded. So wasn’t too happy about that. However he eventually agreed with our argument and all ended well.
Would I go back? ..... due to distance from entertainment etc no probably not. But the villas were lovely otherwise
Visited for one week from 27th October. Villa spacious and well appointed- two twin bedrooms with comfortable beds. Upstairs bathroom with jacuzzi bath ( when we used the bath it used up all the hot water so cold showers for everyone else!). Didn’t have hot water one night which lady on reception couldn’t help with so another cold shower! Kitchen has everything required for self catering including microwave, oven, toaster, full size fridge freezer. Towels changed, beds made and bins emptied daily. Villa very clean on arrival- slight issue with small ants in the kitchen coming in near window so don’t leave anything out on the work surfaces but easily dealt with each morning ( forgot to report this to reception). Staff very helpful and pleasant especially Eunice on reception.Pool area lovely- quiet at this time of year and pool cold which we expected. Would imagine it would be a lot nosier in summer as could hear electric window blinds opening / chairs scraping floor/ people wheeling suitcases during the night even at this time of year. It’s a 20 minuets walk to the strip in the new town and 60 minuets to old town which didn’t bother us as we like to walk- taxi from reception 7 Euro to strip and 8 Euro to old town. I would definitely stay again due to size/standard of villa.
Just back from a very nice relaxing week. Accomodation is excellent very clean. Staff very friendly. On site bar and restaurant good yes a bit expensive but tasty. They supply a coffee machine as well. We stayed in the villas at the bottom which have a rooftop terrace which are sun traps. There are a few resident kittens about which we fed. It was only a 20 minute walk to the top of the strip. If you walk past the start of the strip there is an excellent bakery, Pão da Aldeia. It is cheap and sells super bock on draught. There is seating inside. We paid 4 euros for taxi to the strip we used 67 tours every time we went out. The hop on hop off bus is 20 euros each and you can use for 2 days And yes the pool is cold but only when you first go in.
Villas are very clean, spacious and have everything you need for self catering, they are also cleaned 6 days a week (not on Sundays) which is great, fresh towels sheets etc. Pool area and bar are beautiful & staff are very friendly here. Food is always tasty and freshly prepared. Small shop in reception, ideal to top up but is over priced, there are plenty larger supermarkets near by that are much cheaper. All in all would highly recommend for a family holiday....thank you for a great holiday ☀️...only slight negative is the pool is freezing cold, however given that it’s late October we didn’t mind.
