We stayed here when visiting the Netherlands and were very happy. We were greeted with champagne and snacks to enjoy on the deck our first night there. The room was sparkling clean and very comfortable, the bathroom was roomy and there was plenty of hot water and privacy. Our room had a lovely deck on the river where we could sit and enjoy the fresh air. Our breakfast was generous and delicious and beautiful! We had enough food for half of the Netherlands!
There was even a fridge with beer and wine and soft drinks available for a small amount and we kept some of our own drinks there.
We like to walk and the stroll to Arnhem was easy, only about 15 to 20 minutes and very pleasant, our host, Jaap directed us to a fantastic restaurant where I had the best hot chocolate in my life! He also gave us information about many other things to see near by, including the "Bridge too far". Lots and lots to do in Arnhem and the area.
I can't imagine a nicer place in Arnhem.
(Below it asked if this was a budget hotel, the price was certainly reasonable but it sure didn't feel like a budget place! Very nice place for sure!)

It was our 2nd stay here,
Everything is almost perfect, The host, the rooms settings, the area........a really good place away from everything for total peace and rest but still just 15mins walk away from the main Arnhem town.
Breakfast is verygood and everyday different, you have free tea and coffee included in the room as well.
maybe some mosquito nets or either a small fan will be beneficial on hot/warm days.

If you are ever looking for a place to stay around Arnhem, I would definitely recommend this B&B - location was excellent, easy walk into the core for restaurants. Room was great, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning and plentiful. Our hosts Jaap and Jetty were just the right level of friendliness.

What a lovely place to stay, great location on riverside, easy walk in to arnhem. Lovely clean well presented facilities, breakfast first class in our room overlooking the river. Friendly hosts which all added to our enjoyable stay. We would certainly visit again.

I stayed for three nights at Aan de Rijn and it could not have been a better experience. (I parked easily on the highway immediately above the lane that services the houseboat on the river and was astonished to hear no traffic noise at all from a road that is comparatively close). I had the smaller of the two rooms and was surprised at how much was packed into it. An excellent bathroom with a good shower, comfortable beds and chairs that you could sit in comfortably to read (so often not the case with bedroom chairs). I loved its simplicity and unpretentiousness. It reflected its delightful owners - and all the better for it.
And then the terrace! Straight on to the Rhine. What could be better than to sit with a glass of wine in your hand and watch the river traffic as the sun went down. I just loved it.
Other reviewers have described the delicious breakfasts and Jaap's friendliness and hospitality! I endorse every word. Dutch bread is just wonderful. Different kinds each day - along with croissants, fruit, cheese, meat and eggs!
Arnhem is of course a wonderful place to visit. A small and atmospheric city centre - who would guess at the terrible devastation in WW2. Hills! (This is the Netherlands, for heavens sake). Lots of parks. Handsome houses. Excellent museums. I loved the Arnhem Museum high on the hill almost immediately above the Aan de Rijn (it has an excellent cafeteria with a fabulous view)
The icing on the cake for me was that Jaap let me practice my fledgling Dutch and persevered with his recommendations about what I should see until I did understand! I was so grateful that he didn't use any of his by all accounts excellent English. Not a single English word exchanged during the whole visit. Dankjewel! Je bent zo aardig, Jaap. Ik had een mooi bezoek bij jou en ik hoop dat ik spoedig zal terugkomen!
