This hotel was a bit of a surprise! We booked last minute to see friends in Verona and whilst we knew that it was a little outside the city centre, the price and availability made it a very a tempting proposition. I’m glad we took it!
The room was modern and incredibly well kitted out in terms of amenities (we even had pillow spray!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was free (as we didn’t need to use the garage).
Whilst the hotel is out of the centre, they have shuttle buses to take you in at no charge.
I would happily stay here again (especially if I ever have to go to the exhibition centre, which is the area the hotel is located in).
I arrived at the hotel early in the morning. Upon arrival I was advised that the computer system was down and that the check in was not possible for an hour. This was fine as the receptionist said he would let me know when the room was ready. Idid not expect a roomfor a while so I went to the pool. At midday I went back down to the reception where the system was still not working. The girl at the desk could only say 2pm. I was very annoyed and insisted she work it out and she went to the back and and got some manual printout. Her attitude was very bad and it was chaotic and the staff did not show any interest in resoving the issues. On check out the lady was very nice and apoligised. The hotel had some good favilities the room service food was very bad but the room was very nice.
Very beautiful hotel, near the fiera. This means you are NOT near the historical centre (al least 3 km).
Breakfast was somewhat below standards, for example I cannot stand cucumber-flavoured water!
Meeting room was very well equipped with three screens so slides were easy to see for everybody (there were 100 people in the meeting I attended)
Unfortunately my computer was unable to connect to the local wi-fi.
Sunday in an industrial estate on a long drive home, we stayed here the one night for a rest.
It is modern, it is new and it is perfect for business people. The bedroom and bathroom are generous and the huge window opens although with temps in low 30’s, we preferred the aircon. Bedding was top class and bed very comfortable.
We found an ice machine on the 9th floor when herself went for a swim - very chlorinated - in small indoor pool. Very useful for our thermos flasks for cold drinks on the following days travel!
Herself decided that, having been in the car so long, the restaurant in the hotel was as far as she wanted to go!
The bar - a large serving hatch really - and the dining room were somewhat utilitarian and totally devoid of atmosphere. The barman was great as, it proved, were the dining room guys too.
What a surprise was dinner - it turned out to be one of the best meals we had had in Italy. From smoked salmon and ginger plus salt cod quenelles for me through lobster and prawn ravioli for both of us to the two sea bass fillets and squid, red mullet, octopus with courgette Frito Misto - quite outstanding! Take a bow Chef and kitchen staff - shame we were the only two in the restaurant though!!
Reception were great and no eating at check in or check out might help if there were a little more prominent signage in the vast underground park to show where hotel entrance is?!!
Stayed here for one night with my wife, the girls at reception were quite nice and polite.
The room was clean nice and very comfortable.
The bar area was nice and especially the bsr tenders.
The resturant is really good and the prices are very reasonable.
Breakfast is really good dont miss out on it, it is a buffet that is quite rich and you order coffe besides the premaid coffe that is in the buffet.
Waiters are very nice and polite.
There is a nice pool area and a steam bath ( check the oprating hours for the steam bath ) and also a little jym ( not grand but enough for a basic workout ).
The location is a few minutes drive from verona but the hotel offers a suttle to the city and back with no charge wich is very convinient and reliable.
I highly recommend this hotel no matter what kind of trip you are on.
