Write a reviewReally enjoyed my stay at this central hotel, close to Termini Station. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful in these challenging times. Room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Breakfast was good and served to you in your seat rather than buffet due to Coronavirus, waiting on staff were excellent too. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a mid-priced hotel close to transport links and walk-able to the main sites!

We stayed here for one night whilst transiting through Rome. Although the location is close to the station, and the entrance is clean, the room itself was very tiny and dark, despite paying for a larger room from their website. Bathroom was also in need of updating with scratched bathtub and scuff marks everywhere. Wouldn’t come here again for the money.

The Best western plus hotel universo in Rome ticks all the boxes.
Firstly It’s location is a 5 minute walk from the main Termini station that runs all over Italy & also directly into FCO airport 👍
Then from the moment we arrived & were greeted by Marco we couldn’t fault the hotel.
We were given a top floor room with sunny balcony overlooking the city & a fantastic comfortable bed. It was spotlessly clean throughout & centrally located for walking to most of the sites. The hotel breakfast is recommended at 9 euro per person & the hotel is also surrounded by great places to eat out in the evening.
If We return to Rome We won’t look to stay anywhere other than the Best western plus hotel Universo cause it certainly ticks every single box ✅

I stayed 3 nights on a business trip. The room was very small but sufficient. I did not try the restaurant for dinner but everything there is clean and tidy. The location is very good. Just next door you will find 3 restaurants on the street with very nice Italian food.

We stayed here as a birthday break and due to the then partial Lockdown, it was very quiet.
Our room was upgraded which was a great bonus. We were given a room with a terrace overlooking the street with a partial view of the landscape.
The bathroom was clean and spacious with great water pressure and heat.
The bed was comfortable and an extra blanket was provided when requested.
All staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly.
I would stay here again.

Hi there, I would suggest calling their front desk to double check. We booked two economy rooms, but one room had a balcony, so I'm not too sure how their allocation works...

Hello, in my opinion balcony is useless in this Hotel as the rooms are facing another builing with no sight at all. On the other hand rooms are very soundproof as long as you keep the windows shut

We were there the day after Thanksgiving and while there is AC in the room it's turned off in the entire hotel so don't expect to use it until they deem it necessary to turn it back on

If you don't see the info on the website, just use the contact feature. I'm sure they are very accommodating about this. Every floor is step-free, and I saw at least one person in a wheelchair. I don't know about the bathrooms - that's why it's best to ask.
