The hotel is very well located in the old city (Jewish district) close to the Mezquita (5 min walk). The hotel has 2 entrances , one on Main Street and one on the old city side. If you travel with your car, forget about their parking which is very difficult to access (streets are tiny) and use the public parking just a 2 min walk from there (same street as main entrance of the hotel).
Room was comfortable and clean. Only downside is that we had the view on... a wall! Not a big deal as we did not spend much time in the room, but I’d rather warn the travelers as it sounds like many of the rooms have similar « view ».
The NH Hotel Amistad Cordoba is a remarkable hotel in the center of the historical area of this beautiful city. The hotel's design fully appreciates the ancient Moorish architecture and compliments the old stone walls, patios, and archways of the original palace floor plan with contemporary marble and brass furnishings. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was extraordinary; on two levels with ceiling-high windows overlooking a pretty square with café tables and gardens. General Manager Daniel Betanzos is friendly and most accommodating! We look forward to our next stay at the NH Collection Amistad Córdoba!
We spent only one night in this adorable hotel. Room 10 out of 10, breakfast 10 out ouf 10 staff 11 out ouf 10.
This chain of hotels is fast becoming my new favorite chain of Hotels.
The standard is very high even with the Covid 19 the staff made our stay a fantastic experience.
I have not had an evening meal at any of my NH visits but when next I visit one I will
make a point to do so.
Location is great short walk from the car park which cost 20 euros.
This hotel is well placed for visits to the old town of Cordoba, within walking distance to most of the main sights. Our group's checkin for just one night was a little chaotic, and checkout for the group took a while, but the room was comfortable enough and generally well serviced. Breakfast was a highlight, with a very wide range of buffet choices and freshly cooked eggs a welcome option.
We had 3 nights here and location can’t be beaten. A few minutes to Mezquita and so many restaurants and wonderful atmosphere in the streets around.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable bed with really good wifi.
The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful,
We were disappointed in the gym which is tiny and in another building. Really not worth having,
Our other disappointment was that there was no physical bar , you could get a drink in the courtyard or by the dining room but I think a physical bar is more amenable to ambience and mixing of guests and this hotel lacked that.
However we had a lovely stay and would recommend:
