Checked in to a vending machine that gave me a pin number to room worse than a tent Sangatte refugee camp. The room smelled of a pungent combination of tramp pee and cheap rolling tobacco. Meantime the toilet lacked both paper and a lock. Devoid of humanity. Simply unfit for human habitation.
A group of us chose this hotel due to its proximity to Hannover, the airport, Hermannsberg and it's price.
Rooms are €30 each night and has a double bed and single bunk. Showers and toilets are shared (4 showers and toilets per floor) whilst there is a wash basin in the room. The room did have a slight smell of smoke - something we have thankfully gotten rid of in the UK, whilst house keeping does come every day to change the laundry and tidy up.
Vending machines are in reception (including pilsner for €1.70) and a basic breakfast can be purchased for €6. There is a.shopping centre, fast food outlets and an Aldi within 15 minutes walk whilst the tram stop is less.than 10 minutes which then takes around 15 minutes into central Hannover. The motel itself is really convenient, just 15 minutes from the airport.
A basic motel, but for the price is pretty much all you need for a quick.weekend getaway. I wouldnt really recommend it if.you wanted more of a holiday, but as we use the motel as a "base" this was spot on.
Location was perfect for us, next to highway. Spent only one night as a stopover. Stuff ok, free parking/WiFi. Clean room, showers (automatic self-cleaning cabins)/toilets outside of rooms. Breakfast available for some extra charge. Wending machine at reception.
Went to stay here with my son, first the booking in system was broken at the hidden delapadated unkempt building, staff unfriendly and wouldn't let you in the building while checking your booking, eventually got in to a room no bigger than a cupboard, toilets on landing were dirty, smelly, no toilet seat and water all over the floor, we turned around and walked out, I wouldn't leave an animal there!! Nothing in the vicinity if you have no transport , a good half hour drive into Hannover, we went to Hannover and booked a different hotel, would not stay there even for one night!!
First stay at a Formule 1 hotel, would only stay for one night. Price was cheap for two persons. Location is perfect, close to highway. In the surrounding area one can find enough places to eat. It is possible to visit the town center. Room was fine, as well as the bed. Shower and toilet were in the hallway. Personally I do not like to share these facilities with a whole floor. Windows could be opened. Should you happen to be in Hannover during August, check the Maschseefest, a culinary boulevard that is worth visiting.
