I only stayed 1 night but I loved the location of the hotel in the historical centre. Very quiet location. Room very pleasant, clean, rich breakfast buffet. Pleasant staff. Small hotel with a great personality. Thank you.

Stayed here for one night on a tour round Baveria.

Location is good - a short stroll to the old town / Residence.

The room was clean, but on the small side - there i construction work nearby - no aircon which meant a noisy fan in the room.

Fine for a one night stopover - but wouldn’t recommend a longer stay.

The place is awuful. not clean. Staff is extreamily unpolite. there is a building construction near by and it is noise since 8am til 5pm. Noise, dust, no air conditioning on the room make it just imposible to be inside. the room is super small . avoid this place cause it is a tourist trap. Go to Walfisch that is near by with air conditioning and a wonderfull view to the river and the staff there was amazing! horrible experience with hotel staff that treats you as a burden instead a guest

Nice location, close to the city center of Würzburg. The staff was kind and the towels were daily changed, upon request. The room and the bathroom were clean. The single room was not so narrow. It was a nice stay.

On a recommendation from a friend we decided to stay the first two nights of our German vacation in Würzburg. We found the Franziskaner here on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. We spent two nights...our room was on the top floor with an outside veranda with flower boxes and a seating area...very comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It's in an excellent location with a short walk to the Marktplatz, shopping and the river where we took a nice boat trip down the Main to Veitshöchsheim. During our visit we were pleasantly surprised to find that Weindorf fest was happening, so despite being named Franziskaner we never did drink a Weissbier but enjoyed the fruits of the region at the fest.
