Value for Money stay in Munich,
it has the basics, room is relatively small like all in this star rating, bathroom amenities are ok, very fast internet, very helpful staff, very good breakfast though a bit pricy compared to other hotels, very close to tram station .
Nothing special or fancy, my single room was pretty small but had a nice comfy bed. Don't think you can get a cheaper room for yourself in Munich (even dorms in most hostels can get pricy). Main station, city central are not too far away either.
175 Euro for one night during Oktoberfest was not a bargain. But location was really nice. The couple that runs the place are Turks which one really can tell by the choice of furniture and chandeliers in the lobby. The room though was small and old. Most rooms face the street with a tram and four lanes. So bring your plugs. A little lovestain on the carpets made me cover the carpet with toilet paper before taking of my shoes. Haven’t tried the breakfast after the lovestain experience.
Was very pleased with the attitude in Montree ; wanted to stay 2nd night but, fully booked.Room was good and great location out of the city but, not far to walk & tram nearby.Reception organised my booking at another hotel as Munich was very busy at this particular time.
Thank you !
Friendly staff and room very clean but the hotel has to be understood for what it is - a budget offer that is well past it’s best years. So long as this is understood then you won’t be disappointed. Situated right next to a tram stop so traveling around the city is easy. Top tip - if using the tram for 4 stops or less then there is a cheap fare option of just €1:50
