Eat here lunchtime. Don't stay here. No AC, dreadful rooms. Curtains ripped and couldn't close. Awful facilities etc etc. 67 euros! What a cheek. It was 37 degrees and bed made up with winter duvet. Couldn't open window. Room like a sauna. They don't understand hospitality at all. The lunch menu was okay but better food opposite at main road hotel
Well located just a short walk from the centre of town, but just far enough away to be a little quieter.
Large car park opposite but, while free overnight, charges during the day. Closed on Thursday mornings due to market. Free parking by the chateau is a few minutes walk away and is fine without luggage (a bit difficult if lugging a suitcase).
Good sized room but no ventilation other than having the windows open which lets in the noise from the restaurant. No in-room facilities (e.g. no safe, fridge, coffee).
Small bathroom and the shower rail was very low. Water went from tepid to very hot with a very slight turn of the tap - so be careful.
Only one socket available for charging those electronic items. Wifi sometimes worked in room, but generally only in public areas (bar/restaurant).
Very good restaurant. But was closed on Wednesday. Breakfast was poor though - the worst of 9 hotels on my trip. Adequate but just bread, croissant and pain au chocolat with juice and hot drink.
Dinan seemed a bit lacking in decent restaurants and this hotel stood out from the rest, though down by the river there were some nice options too.
The hotel is well situated near the centre of Dinan. We stayed in the family room which had two bedrooms which were clean, tidy, & reasonably spacious. The bathroom was quite large & adequate. Unfortunately, there was quite a lot of noise both from other occupants in the early hours & traffic which did spoil sleep quality. The breakfast was good. The service fell short of friendly.
Dinan is a beautiful town, visit the castle and wander around the Tudor style cobbled streets.
Easy parking either outside or in the car park directly opposite.
Friendly accommodating staff. Room basic but clean. A quaint little French hotel.
Towels and sheets provided.
Ensuite facilities in the family room.
Restaurant food smelled and looked good and it was busy but we did not eat evening meal.
Breakfast was also well attended and was a good spread of typical French breakfast items but fear not tea is available.
I would stay here again however it was quite a way from the main route we were travelling on to Carantec.
