I highly recommend. The communications with the host were very good. He was gracious and helpful when we met, and flexible with times (I arrived early and he had my room ready for me, I could have left my luggage with him if necessary). The instructions he gave me for entering the apartment were 100%.
The apartment is lovely (Kergomard). Great value for money. The design is modern but classic, very aesthetic, large and airy. It's located in a beautiful but quiet part of the old area, close to varied eating places and a boulangerie right downstairs. The views from the windows are beautiful. There's plenty of space, all the facilities including good and continuous wifi and a well equipped kitchenette. The apartment was clean and the facilities in very good shape. Lots of lights for nighttime, and electric blinds to shut out the sunshine if sleeping late.
The only minus, and a minor one: the very strong smell of burned bread or baking from the boulangerie. It's not a bad smell...The smell was strongest in the passageway leading to the apartment. In the apartment I did open up a window a few times to air out the smell, which helped a lot.

You could not ask for a more convenient location in this charming district. Above a boulangerie, across from a beautiful church and close to affiliated Chez Dupont and Bistro Dupont, our room in this B&B was quiet yet close to the active riverfront and late night spots.

We had a great stay at Chez Dupont. Pierre Jean was extremely welcoming and helpful both before and during our stay, and we felt like we'd hit the jackpot with regards location - Chartons is an absolutely charming part of Bordeaux and within easy walking distance of the city centre. The room was comfortable and clean. We'd definitely return.

Bordeaux rose to our TOP3 city destinations in Europe. Especially the Chartrones district where we lived proved to be excellent.

Best of all, our chosen B&B Une Chambre Chez Dupont proved to be the best in the area. We chose the room SEIGNOURET, which turned out to be the best apartment in the hotel. Beautifully urban French views of the main street Rue Notre Dame, but without the noise or harassment.

The service was excellent and the recommended breakfast bar was perfect. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which was important because it was over +30 outdoors.

Chambre Chez Dupont was a great discovery. Five stars for location, service and spacious room.

Really helpful staff, full of advice. They helped us with taxis and went out their way to look after our bikes.

Bed was comfortable. Room was warm. Small kitchenette.

Some good bars/bistros nearby. Worth a visit.

It is not An open bathroom and there is no receptiondesk. They give you a code to open the front door and a code to open the box to get your key. So i'm afraid that no one can help you with your luggage
