This is the most friendliest welcoming bed and breakfast I have ever stayed, the owners go over and above to help you enjoy your stay
Made me more than welcome,
I requested no breakfast due to the time of morning I started work , when I opened my room door to leave for work their was a pack lunch left for me
They invited me for tea no extra charge
All rooms are well layed out and immaculate
The views and gardens are outstanding
Nothing is to much trouble for this couple
I would recommend this B and B to all my friends family or any body else I meet
Thank you so much for everything this family did for me during my say kind regards geoff clark
Stayed here for one night at the end of March. Beautiful farm house and a wonderful friendly welcome.
Our room was gorgeous with a balcony with great views and a wonderful rolled top bath. There was a Tv, tea making facilities, plenty of fluffy towels, toiletries and a hair dryer.
The full English breakfast was delicious, cooked with fresh farm eggs and plenty of cereal and juices.
Would definitely recommend a visit, it’s a shame we only stayed one night as we would have liked to check out out the location as it’s beautiful. We will try and visit in the summer.
Thank you for your hospitality xx
I stayed at Rosedene for one night to prepare me for a interview I had at the university a short drive away and so I wasn’t having to get up at the crack of dawn. On arrival at the B&B Chris noticed I had a large mud stain all over my white shirt I had for my interview, needless to say I was devastated. However Lisa went above and beyond and washed my shirt at 10pm at night, and had it ironed and starched as good as new ready for me at breakfast the next morning. Couldn’t thank her enough, it’s touches like that that make you appreciate what a fantastic B&B this is!
The actual house itself was beautiful, set in lovely grounds and fantastically decorated. A warm welcome from all the family and instantly made to feel at home. The room I stayed in was cozy and warm and extremely comfortable with a lovely clean en suite. The power shows was excellent!
Breakfast was served when I requested rather than a set time which is another lovely touch, unlimited coffee and orange juice, a beautiful cooked breakfast and don’t let yourself miss out on Lisa’s home made jam - it’s delicious!
Best B&B I’ve ever stayed in and I won’t hesitate to return - hopefully for longer next time!
I stayed at Rosedene house for a long weekend whilst visiting some friends in the north east. First of all the location is tremendous, it's tucked away in the county side with wonderful views which could be enjoyed from my balcony in my room, but it's also only a ten minute drive from main towns and a short trip along the A19 to Sunderland and Newcastle which gave me plenty of choice to spend the day with my friends.
From the moment I arrived Lisa couldn't have gave me a warner welcome, making me feel comfortable and at home. She had home made treats such as ginger and chocolate cake around the B&B which where delightful and a lovely touch.
The full b&b was spotless from top to bottom. My room was exceptional with a Gorgeous balcony and a free standing bath.
On a night you could cosey up in the guest front room in front of a lovely log fire. The breakfast in the hotel was cooked to perfection.
Rosedene house was definitely by far the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in and I certainly will be making another visit. I would like to thank Lisa for her wonderful service, nothing was ever too much for her and she would go above and beyond to make sure you enjoyed your stay.
Thank you Lisa.
I stayed a few nights in Rosedene House, Wednesday through to Saturday whilst I was hosting a series of talks at the local university, before heading further uptake coast into Northumberland. On arrival, I was greeted by Lisa whom took me to my balcony en suite room. The room was light, fresh and immaculately clean. After a wonderful night sleep, I was served my cooked breakfast, with the poached eggs cooked to perfection. At Breakfast, I was talking with Lisa about the AGA in the B&B, which is used to cook the breakfast. As an AGA enthusiast, I was delighted to see this. Following my talks in the university, I returned to the house, and to be able to sit out on the balcony, overlooking the farmland with a glass of wine and a great book was a lovely way to spend my evening. Overall the house and surrounding area was lovely, but the warm welcoming nature of the hosts really made my stay. Will definitely be returning in the future.
