Me and my daughter was going to Italy but unfortunately her passport ran out few days before travel and I didn't notice till reached Heathrow. Then I had to stay in London for the night and booked this hotel. I had to wait for 20 minutes outside till someone came out. He didn't listen that I pressed the bell. He then could not find the booking either. And when I saw the room I was shocked. It was terrible. It was so dirty and smelly. The bathroom was horrible. There was so much noise which was unbearable. I will not recommend this place.
Should have done this review ages ago though...
Stayed for just one night.. which was way too long! Disgusting dirty place! Don't expect a hotel room if you book here! It is like something out of slum landlords! I couldn't get in the bed..yuk! I couldn't even put my feet on the dirty stained carpets! The shower cubicle was dirty! There was a tv leaning against the wall on top of the shell of a bedside table, no remote, no stand! Wires hanging out behind! No drink facilities in the room, not that you would want any in there! Windows black with mould, curtains disgusting! Toilet was brown in the bottom, although it did have lots of blue rinse thrown in! No reception area, we didnt hang around for breakfast in the rooms at 9am.. bread and jam apparently! What more can I say?? Nothing , except I was tempted to sleep in a bus stop shelter for the night.. I spent the least possible time there that I could and had left the hovel by 8am..
We had to wait outside the hotel for 15 minutes pressing the front door bell waiting for the reception staff to appear , not a good start! The man who checked us in was quite rude and abrupt.... I could see this wasn’t going to be a good stay. So as we was told where our room was the overwhelming stench of the hallway greeted us an almost mouldy smell. The carpets were filthy and clearly hadn’t been hoovered for a while. Our room was a disgrace , dirty stained duvet cover and yellow stains on the bottom sheet!! No toilet roll in the bathroom and a shower which looked like it was going to fall of the wall was filthy!!! The window in the bedroom didn’t shut properly either , not exactly secure !! I was terrified to sleep in that dirty bed. I slept with my spare clothes on the bed sheets!
Overall we paid £50 for one night and if we hadn’t already paid we would of gone somewhere else and happily paid more at a different hotel for a clean room.
The hotel needs A LOT of work done to make it into a ‘cheap and cheerful ‘ hotel .
I would however advise people considering this hotel in the future to avoid it at all costs.
We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and nobody was at the reception. The owners walked by coincidentally and let us in. The owner is friendly, but the hotel is terrible. Our room was tiny and basic, which I normally wouldn‘t mind, but the floor was dirty, the sheets and towels were stained. There was no towel for your hair/face/hands, only two for the body. There‘s no blowdryer and not even a towel rack to hang them up after using them. Right after moving into our room we asked the owner of the hotel to vacuum the floor and he told us that would happen the next day when a „very hardworking girl“ would stop by and clean. That didn‘t happen. Breakfast is brought to your room. Four pieces of toast, butter, jam (not enough for two) and coffee and tea with milk and sugar. The dishes and cutlery didn‘t look very appealing, that‘s why I stopped eating breakfast at the hotel after three days. At some point I even found a dead bug in my bed and an alive one on my towel. One of the beds was broken and the mattress sank down into the bed. Seriously don‘t go here.
This is not a hotel, this is a dungeon, a small room full of dust, the sheets have not been replaced and the blanket has a smelly smell.
There was no hot water in the shower on the first day, and the rest of the day there was a really weak stream of water.
Needless to say, there is no room service and no towels are changed.
The price we paid included breakfast,
In fact, when we arrived they told us we would get breakfast in the room at 9am.
The next day no breakfast arrived,
We asked for breakfast and they said it was imperative to book between 8:00 and 8:50 AM.
The next day I went down at 8:35 am, but then they said it should be booked by 8:30.
In short, they will lie and do everything possible to not bring you breakfast.
Do yourself a favor, pay a few more pounds and enjoy your trip.
