Stayed here Thursday 1st October till Monday 5th Absolutely horrified that throughout our entire stay our room was not serviced not once when we needed clean towels we had to go ask for them when we enquired why our room hadn’t been serviced we were told it was “ due to Covid “ SERIOUSLY surely during a pandemic cleanliness would be of the utmost importance more than ever . We wouldn’t have minded the bed not being made or the actual room not being wiped over but surely the bath/shower area and sink could have been cleaned . When we asked the reason for no servicing of the room we were told that if we had been staying for 7 days the room would have been serviced on day 6 this is unacceptable especially as we are in the middle of a pandemic we feel we were put at risk and Covid was a pathetic excuse when I strongly suspect that the actual reason was staff have been furloughed or paid off again if that is the case then your hotel shouldn’t be open . Due to this experience I will never stay in a Premier Inn again.
Stayed here for three nights while in London for business. The hotel was really well connected being only a short walk from the underground for northern and jubilee line. There is also a Tesco express around the corner and plenty of places to pick up food and drink.
Staff here were great, when I arrived the original room I was in smelt, after speaking to staff they quickly moved my room. Service for breakfast was efficient and well executed.
The girls here are all so friendly and smiley. Really helpful. Made me feel really welcome. Room was large and had a round bay window. Loads of space. Really helpful friendly team. Really clean too. Good central location.
So we had a different holiday booked but we’d cancelled that and decided to go london and be tourists for a few days! It was amazing! This wasn’t the hotel I’d booked but they’d rang me and said they was shut when I looked see this one and moved here instead. From the pics it looked lovely and out of the way and it tray was! I thought london noise go hand in hand but you couldn’t hear anything in your room ours was above the tesco so on the street view but you’d never of known. Blackout curtains, 4 panel of glass meant no street sound I’m talking talking and main traffic like sirens you could but you’d hear them at home.
During this time no house keeping if your staying more than 5 days then they will switch rooms so they can clean it. If you need more tea/coffee ask at reception they give you a bag with extras in. Extra pillow ask house keeping will leave outside your door. Any rubbish leave in a bag outside your door and housekeeping will take it. You see staff, there was 1 breakfast the staff was by themselves and rushed of their feet but the other days we had 3/4 members of staff taking orders and sorting out. Tea/coffee depends on who served you as most let you go up yourselves same as toast. I feel this was a hidden gem in the city, 5 min walk at most from London Bridge underground station or 10 min max from London Bridge station. There’s a tesco right outside a Sainsbury’s 2 min walk down the road incase you need anything. Plenty of places to eat out as well
Excellent friendly and efficient service. The rooms were very clean with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were adequate as was the TV in the room. The room was lovely and warm with a thermostat to hand to vary temperature.
