Lovely room which was upgraded after another booking cancelled at short notice, very clean and comfortable and stylish. William is great and cares a great deal about guests having the best time and is really helpful and knowledgeable about the local area as well as being good fun. Perfect breakfast, top quality and super accommodating- would definitely go back.

We stayed at Rossdene house for two nights.

The room was very nice, with plenty
of space very clean, with a nice en-suite.

The breakfast was superb, with a lot of flexibility on what ended up on your plate.

The host, William is a very nice man who made us feel very welcome.

The value for money is excellent and we would happily stay here again.

We have just had the most wonderful stay at Rossdene House! Beautiful accommodation, sparkling clean and full of wonderful thoughtful little touches that you wouldn’t get anywhere else! Little packets of sweets and biscuits in the bedroom along with luxurious top hotel standard beds and a large tv with a huge variety of channels. Rossdene House is excellent value for money, ideally situated to enjoy Blackpool and parking was never an issue either - there was always a place to park close by despite it being the weekend the illuminations were switched on. The tram stop is a two minute walk one way and a lovely pub serving great food The Gynn is a two minute walk the other way. But what made our stay really special was how we were looked after by William and team. William really is a fabulous host, so warm and welcoming and he thinks of everything even bringing in a birthday cake decked with candles for our son whose 9th birthday we were celebrating! Our son has autism and complex needs (he finds new places very difficult) but he was treated so warmly and looked after so well that by the end of the weekend he was relaxed and high fiving William! Thanks for looking after us and a fabulous stay William! Best wishes Ann, Phil, Adam and Jamie

A 2-night stay was booked at the Seaforth Guest House (avoid...) Due to the unacceptable atittude of the owner and inflexiblity regarding arrival time I felt pressured to source alternative accommodation. Rossdene House came to the rescue!

William was an absolute STAR in understanding my predicament and was extremely accommodating. My boyfriend and I cannot fault anything regarding this guest house or it's host.

The establishment/bedroom was spotlessly clean (and bed very comfortable..), cooked breafkast was top notch! in a lovely well laid out dining room, plenty of choice of cereals, juices etc. William as a host was excellent, laid back, fab sense of humour and gave us great tips on where to go for entertainment and always asked if we had enjoyed our day.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this guest house. All credit to you William, you do a fantastic job! thank you for an extremely enjoyable stay. :) :)

Just a week or so back from a long weekend family break and had a fantastic time staying at Rossdene House. We’ve stopped here a number of times through the last 5 or so years and it never fails to impress. The proprieter is a fantastic host and has always done as much as he possibly could to make sure you can enjoy your stay at his B&B. The place is immaculate and classicly decorated to well above standard for a B&B. 4 stars in this category is very hard to attain & keep. The breakfast on offer is second to none that I’ve ever had. The dining room is beatuful and the tables are well set out with lovely crockery, cutlery & child safe tea & coffee pots. Great care & attention has been taken to offer great choice with either the fresh fruit & cereal option through to a traditional full cooked breakfast. There is also a lounge within the premises that guests can enjoy a brilliant range of drinks & spirits. As for tourist information, there are guides & pamphlets available in the hallway however the host is a magnificent help to allow you to get the best out of your holiday with key information from everything to reccomendations for places to eat & drink, to entertainment shows & reviews. He can offer you ideas for best days & times to visit or cheapest ways to purchase tickets from shows, pleasure beach, trams, food & drink. The rooms that we have stayed in were always family rooms with top of the range Hypnos mattresses & luxury bedding. A real treat & a great sleep to help get you set for the next day. Bathrooms have all been pristine and decorated to a very high standard of finish. I read someone elses review which said we felt like we were staying at our Aunties house as we were always being asked where we were going. To me this would be the best way the owner could help you with any of his vast knowledge on how to get the best out of your stay in Blackpool but I guess everyone is different when it comes to chatting openly with someone you don’t really know. I think that was the thing which allowed us to cram so much into our stay on that last visit. I would like to recommend this 4 star B&B to anyone looking for a spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable place to lay a weary head after busying around the sights & sounds of Blackpool. A warmer welcome you will struggle to receive & if you’re fond of a laugh over a refreshment, then the owner has an outstanding sense of humour & has a fantastic ability to have everyone in his lounge aquainted with one another in no time. I’m not big on reviews because some are very picky or pedantic. Most of the time, if you come away from a place after a brilliant time, then it’s not usually something you see folk raving about on reviews. After visiting so many times here & seeing the place exceeding it’s own high standards year after year I feel it only right to tell people what a great family experience we had on our last stay. Many thanks William. Keep On Keepin On!! We look forward to returning to Rossdene in the near future.
