This was our second stay with Theresa and Mark. The room was spotlessly clean and had been unoccupied for the 24 hours prior to our stay. All areas of the guesthouse fully complied with Covid-19 guidelines to provide a safe environment. The dining room had been rearranged so that a maximum of 2 tables could be occupied and to facilitate this, a room dining rota was implemented. The breakfast menu was selected from an extensive list and submitted the night before thus enabling the meal items to be served without undue delays. The breakfast was always freshly cooked, very tasty and served hot Nothing was too much trouble for them, we drink only skimmed, fat-free milk and they provided cartons just for our needs. Mark and Theresa are a lovely couple and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Parking for 3 cars is available at the front of the property but there is unlimited street parking on the road. If you use a bus pass, there are bus stops a 5 minute walk away. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend it, a worthy 5 star place to stay!!

We stayed here 3 nights at the beginning of September. Mark and Teresa were lovely hosts giving us a very warm welcome. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Covid-19 regulations were adhered to throughout our stay. Breakfast was very tasty, including my vegan breakfast. Highly recommend.

We stumbled across The Cranmore when the stay at the B&B we originally booked turned into a bit of a nightmare. Mark and his wife went out of their way to accommodate myself and my 8 year old daughter and managed to squeeze us in whilst adhering to all COVID regulations (this involved them working extra hours to meet all hygiene rules). I’m so glad they did! Our room was lovely. Nicely decorated, comfy bed, clever use of space for optimal storage. And breakfast is as good as all the other reviews say. We will certainly be returning. Big thanks to our lovely hosts! You saved our holiday ✨

We have just stayed here for 4 nights in the family room. We have 2 older children and we found this was one of the most spacious family rooms we have stayed in. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with a wide variety to choose from. The b & b is a great location just out of town and only took us 15 minutes walk to the sea front with a lovely walk through the abbey gardens. It's also a great location for exploring other parts of south devon. There was plenty of parking either on the front or on the road opposite. Mark and Teresa were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They noticed I only drink de caffe tea so kindly left me some tea bags in the room. If we are this way again we will certainly be booking here and will be recommending to friends and family. Keep doing what your doing. Thanks for a lovely stay
