This resort is very welcoming under the circumstances. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The tv is very small but at least you have two. The toilet is in a very small room and the beautiful stand alone tub puts out yellow water.
The pool is very nice to have but is very small when kids are in there and you have 1 hr so everyone gets a chance to get in. The hot tub is very spacious. There are no chairs around the pool or around the grounds(you can’t sit out and enjoy the view, we had to walk over to another building to sit in the sun ).
There is a restaurant in the next building that we didn’t know about until this evening, we did eat at the golf course that wasn’t bad but the stone..... restaurant wasn’t good at all. Over all it was a nice place to stay but 200 a night??
Based on our recent stay in this place: it was built with the style in mind, no doubt. But it looks like most of the money were spend on style and little was left to pay for the proper design and maintenance .
Some of the issues we had there:
- In the one-bedroom apartment we stayed in there was only one AC\heating register for the entire place and it was right above the bed. Good luck having a good night of sleep while this thing makes noise and blows hot air to your faces. We ended up shutting it down completely.
- There was a huge air intake\outlet for underground parking heating\air system right under our bedroom window. We found about it when it kicked in for the first time about 30 minutes after midnight and kept going for 20 minutes with loud noise.
- There are several other issues with the way the building was built and how poorly it is maintained. I don't own any part of it and I do not care about those issues, but I think it is worth mentioning here because they might affect your stay.
In general - I would not recommend this place. Kimberly is not big, but you could find other places to stay.
This hotel/condo is very nice, rooms are spacious. we had a two bedroom unit, which had a sitting room two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was well stocked with plates cutlery etc.
Pool was chilly as was the hot tub, both outside.
It would be nice to have a complementary breakfast or a starter kit of food.
Our room was very nice and very comfortable. Pricing was a bit high for the amenities in the town, however we truly enjoyed out stay. Without a restaurant in the hotel or room service, we had to travel to town for meals. The hotel could use a gift shop and convenience store for the guests to not have to drive to town.
We stayed here as a recce for our future wedding in the area and wanted to see the rooms / facilities before block booking for our guests.
We were given a one bedroom suite that consisted of a very well equipped modern kitchen, dining area, living room, balcony (with furniture) a large bedroom with king bed, a free standing deep soaker tub, a large shower cubicle and toilet.
It’s more of an Aparthotel then a stand alone hotel and the suite is more like a modern condo - we were shown various 2 bedroom suites and a 3 bedroom option all are very impressive, well equipped and each has 2 bathrooms.
The outside hot tub is large and welcoming, the swimming pool is on the small shallow side but serves its purpose to do a few laps in.
I’m confident out wedding guests will be impressed and enjoy staying here.
