A beautifully restored Edwardian home with comfortable bedroom and ensuite plus lovely veranda. Host Karen was friendly and helpful, providing local advice and a delicious breakfast. We were sorry we had only booked one night. A peaceful haven along the Great Ocean Road for an affordable price.

Well maintained beautiful character property.

Karen the host met me on arrival.

It was a cold night. She had turned on the electric blankets prior to my arrival, and pre heated the room, the heating in the room was on. I was not cold at all in the night.

Fridge in the room with free water, juice and milk and two treats.

Had a nice bath in the free standing tub. Bathroom had heat lamps and plenty of hot water for bath and shower. Bath filled quickly.

In the morning, very nice English style breakfast cooked also cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, toast served.

Karen gave me a map with some extras stops and options I hadn’t thought about.

Very nice stay, exactly as described. Very homely.

Stayed at the charming B&B in route to the Great Ocean Road. The owners, Karen & John were so very welcoming. You definitely felt at home - spacious bedroom, bathroom and also use of the living rom/sitting area. Our hosts also prepared a Wonderful breakfast for us - eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruits plus coffee. Karen & John made sure we left with happy stomachs!!

Also appreciated the map and suggestions on stops to make along the Great Ocean Road.

Wonderful Hospitality!!!

We found this place to be ideal. I’m all about having a quiet place to stay. Karen was very accommodating. Making sure we were comfortable in our room, taking our breakfast order so we got what we wanted. This was perfect as I hate to waste food. She gave us a heads up to eat at Port Campbell Hotel and it was fantastic. All around great place to stay and great host.

We were so glad that we found Butterfly Farm when searching for somewhere to stay in the area. I rang to book and Karen was so helpful on the phone giving advice on things to do while we were in the area.
Our stay there was great. John greeted us, showed us around and to our room. (Karen wasn't there) Nothing was too much trouble. The house is beautiful and so well restored, after living in an older style house for 20 years we appreciated every aspect of the home. Our room was comfortable and the next morning John cooked us a beautiful breakfast. We really enjoyed breakfast, chatting with John while we ate and sitting afterwards and talking to him. Sometimes you meet people you feel you know as they immediately make you feel comfortable, that is John! We really enjoyed our time here. It is great to have not only somewhere nice to stay but great hosts as well. We feel that is all part of the B&B experience. If you love that too you can't go past the hospitality of Butterfly Farm. Next trip up the Great Ocean Road we will definitely stay here again.
