Very good furnished rooms - old building but all rooms are refurbished - very clean rooms - very quiet rooms even on the street side - bathroom/shower is average, maybe at bit too small - beds are top quality (you will have a great sleep) - no minibar, but water service for a decent low price - no outside shutters/but cheap inside shutters - in summer you can't get the room real dark
hotel is entirely border-free - elevator - swimming pool (that's great for a 3-star hotel) - large and sumptuous breakfast (highly recommended) - excellent restaurant, they cook real fresh - German-oriented menus - food quality & taste are excellent
check-in by car possible but parking can be a headache on the other side of the street.
OVERALL:
A real top 3-star hotel - top price/value - strong recommendation!

We booked this hotel to visit Trier and surroundings. Very lovely place to stay and very friendly staff. Although we did arrive later then scheduled a table was set or us to have dinner. Very lovely food (if you like German food :-) ). We traveled with our dog which was no problem, he was even allowed in the dinning room. Breakfast has a good choise between different bread and toppings. The road next to which the hotel is located is very busy and ca be heard in the rooms at the road side, this is the only disadvantage we encountered. Due to the busy schedule it was for us not possible to enjoy the swimming pool and wellness, maybe next time.

I booked a trip for my boyfriend. We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. The food was better than I excepted, the people who works there are so kind and nice and always with a smile! They gived us good advice about all we Could do in Trier. When you go in the hotel, at the bar even the room it look's like it's a bit old but that makes the charm of this hotel! We had an amazing weekend and a amazing time in the hotel. It's close to everything ( with the car) . They have a nice wineshop close to the hotel.
If you want to go to Trier you have to go to this hotel you wont regret!
It was my really first weekend I booked for somebody it had to be perfect and it was more than perfect!

We Will go back more then once I think with some good Pierre Marcolini chocolates 😉

Stayed one night at this hotel with my family on our way back home and wow! What gem this place is!!

We were 4 adults and 1 baby and I have absolutely anything negative to say about our stay. It is all positive things

Hotel has been reviewed and the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. They provided a good baby bed for our son

The restaurant is good and they can make you feel like you are eating at your home because of the kindness of their staff. Very personalized and caring. They were extra kind and attentive with our little one

Good and free parking in front of the entrance

The breakfast delicious and big variety of breads, cereals, hams, cheeses, everything. The offered us fresh scramble eggs when we arrive to the breakfast room too!

Summarizing one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time and my husband and I are BIG travelers so we kind of know what we are talking about 😊

Spent 5 nights in the hotel which is very convenient to Trier and Luxembourg and other sites along the Mosell. We stayed in a two bedroom with a shared full bath that was recently renovated and very nice. The staff were all wonderful and the breakfast spread was one of the best we had on our two week trip. Would definitely stay again. Other than the awful heat while we were there the only issue was the construction going on on the monument . Lovely area!
