Not far from the town about 40 min walk, clean and spacious rooms, huge pool and such a friendly family run business, in a quiet area but lots to do around, 3 min walk to supermarket and restaurants and a 10 min walk to most beautiful beach, would definitely recommend!!
Good location for beach, bus and general travel around the west end of the island. Only 30 mins by car from Chania airport. Car parking on road side. We were a couple staying in a one bedroom apartment. Apartment had two further pull out beds in the lounge area. Kitchenette had very basic facilities and taking your own travel kettle is a must. Aircon and safety deposit were charged for as extras. Staff very accommodating when we found we were on the noisy side of the apartment block. Two clean and good sized swimming pools on site, no bagging of sun beds with towels as no need due to large number available.
Great family run hotel!!! - My parents have been staying here for the last 10 years and they keep going back. I joined them this year with my wife and 2 year old and I can see why they do - the hotel was just perfect for our needs.
Katarina the owner can simply not do enough for you to make your stay the best it can be. The rooms are clean and tidy, fresh linen and towels everyday and the WiFi in the room is better than what I have at home from Virgin!
The self catering rooms have a small electric hob, fridge freezer, hair dryer, safe and coffee maker but no kettle so recommend you bring a travel one.
The 2 pools are large and are open from 8am - 8pm and the beach is a 10 min walk away.
Food is great and if its not on the menu just ask, I recommend the Stiffado!
There is a super market just around the corner - including Jumbo which is a massive Toyshop / Walmart type shop literally sells everything and its cheap!
Stayed at this hotel two weeks in July. It's friendly family driven hotel. They provided great services. Clean towels and rooms every day. They offered nice food for dinner. The hotel have 2 pools and a mini market 2 minutes away by walk. The hotel is located close to Chania. You can buy either buy ticket for 1,20 EUR at the mini market or call for a taxi for 7 EUR to get to Chania. The beach is about 10 min away by walking. There are some great restaurants/hotel restaurants 15 min away by foot if you want variety in food. There is also one nice restaurant 5 min away towards the beach, where they have walking ducks in the garden of the restaurant if you don't want to walk far. This is a quite hotel, where a lot of families spend their holidays. If you have any questions regarding for example finding things in Chania, don't hesitate to ask the personnel at the hotel, they are really nice and friendly and will tell you what to do.
I will recommend this hotel to any person who is looking for a quite, relaxing and great time on Crete. I wouldn't mind comming back to this hotel.
My family and I stayed here during the May half term holidays and had a fantastic holiday. The apartments are basic but exceptional clean and friendly and both pools are lovely to swim in. We had the main pool to ourselves most of the time as it was lovely and quiet. The staff here are so relaxed, friendly and helpful and are happy to help with any matter. They even let us stay in our room until 8pm on our last day due to a late departure. The nearby beach is beautiful to swim in and it is a short bus ride from the end of the road to the lovely town of Chania. Would highly recommend staying at Theos Village.
