The Byron House is a wonderful B&B. It is spacious, warm and welcoming, in a great location, and sparkling clean. I was greeted with friendly information and made to feel very comfortable as soon as I arrived. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious! I look forward to visiting again soon!
My husband and I stayed at the Byron House for 5 nights in mid June. We chose it for the price...and were pleasantly pleased with the accommodations, great walking location to town and scrumptious breakfast! From the moment of our arrival we felt welcome and comfortable. Our room(the "Dutch") was lovely appointed with a queen bed (love the ironed sheets!) and a love seat. The bathroom was large with a in shower. The property sits on a corner and our room had windows on both streets. But -not to worry- I didn't hear a car go by after 10 pm!! NOL is a nice lakeside area with a quaint city center. It is extremely safe..we would walk into town at night for a night cap. Our purpose in visiting the area was 2 fold: to visit friends and to see Niagara Falls. You are about 20-30 min drive to the falls along the Niagara parkway. It is a nice drive with many over looks. One thin you will notice are all the vineyards! Oh my!! The Byron House has coupons for free samp,es at the wineries-grab a few as it will save you a ton of money!!
Byron House only has 3 rooms -so u have the opportunity at bfast to meet the other guests. If you are there alone (as we were for a couple nights) have no fear- Kane is there to serve you your delicious breakfast...chef Sean will come out and explain the main course!! I'm sorry that I can't remember the owners names (Dale?). -- they were busy tending to family matters... but always checked in on us and gave us their personal cell numbers if needed!!! Sweet people. Sweet accommodations! I can't recommend this Inn more! Looking forward to returning
Had a great stay at the Byron house - room was spacious and very clean. Host was there on site and provided us with free coupons for wine tastings. Location was fantastic- easily walking distance from the lovely downtown. We were directed towards a few great walks around town and some favorite restaurants. We hope to return and would recommend the Byron House and the Tuscany room!
We chose this B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake because it is in a strategic position to visit the Niagara falls without the confusion of the city of Niagara Falls.
The house is very charming and the garden outside is very well maintained.
Our host, Mrs. Dail, made us feel like at home: the breakfast was awesome, cooked by a chef and served as in a luxury restaurant. I regret not having taken a photo to show this goodness.
The staff - several days before the check in - asked us about our possible food allergies and they prepared a specific breakfast suitable to my intolerances.
The room was comfortable, clean with a good bathroom and a wide shower.
Just a little remark: the air conditioned is centralized and not stoppable from the room. It is a bit noisy especially in night time. It stops late night and restarts after 8am.
The wifi power in the room (our room was named "Serengeti") is very good.
The area of the B&B is very quiet and the town centre is reachable in 5 mins by foot.
I suggest The Byron House to whom wants to visit Niagara falls staying in a quiet and pleasant place.
