Bad housekeeping, poor maintenance and non existent management
My family was checked into suite 803.to get to it we had to walk past a stinking rubbish room with dirt on outside it on the corridor floor! In the suit itself, there were stalactites formed on the hall ceiling with stalagmites growing on the floor in the middle of a pool of water! The guy on duty(apparently they had no manager there to manage the place) said it must have just happened and housekeeping had not told anyone yet!!!I hate blatant lies, stalactites and stalactites take months to grow and these were at least 6 months old!!!

They moved us to suite 1105. This was marginally better but apart from the simple lock on the main door there was no secondary lock on it as the chain was missing!! It appears they did not maintain this room either and are comfortable to put their guests security at risk.

Other people have written about their bad experiences at this property on Trip Adviser over several years and where the management has replied they have said they will improve! Rubbish, these are just words. From our experience the management and maintainable of this place has not improved.

There are properties in Penang managed by passionate staff. This is not one of them and well worth avoiding!!

View from the room
Neat and clean. Nice view from the balcony. Homely feelings.good to stay with reasonable price.there is swimming pool,cafe facilities.one can enjoy indoor game like table tannis.good and Enjoyable to stay.

Very nice
Overall the room was nice and clean. Although the furnishing looks quite old. A lot of amenities such as swimming pool, steam room, gym, pool table, movie area, etc. Very near to Queensbay Mall. Will definitely stay here if given a chance.

clean room, nice place to stay, friendly staff, good view, recommended for family stay. Totally loving the pool area and also the lounge where we get to chill and relax. will come and book again. love this place!

Relaxing environment and friendly satff
My family and I enjoyed our stay at century bay. The facilities are awesome and my kids enjoyed themselves so much playing at the pool. Everyone that was so friendly and hospitable. Will definitely come back again during my next family outing.
