Alain and David were spectacular hosts, my grandmother and I felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The gîtes is beautiful with such extreme attention to detail, you could explore for hours! Our room was also perfect with everything we could need and more.
Alain and David were so accommodating and welcoming. They had a great sense of humour and worked perfectly together to provide a flawless experience. It was lovely to be able to all sit down for a martini and dinner together, the food was glorious, with so many fresh products (from the garden) and local wines, it was another experience in itself! We have been talking about it for the whole rest of our road trip!
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to stay here - a little oasis in the middle of Nouvelle-Aquitaine!!

Ditto everything other fortunate travelers have said about this wonderful B&B and its delightful hosts. The room and bath are large, comfortable and spotless; the house and gardens are beautiful, and David and Alain provide a lovely experience in the countryside near St. Emilion. Ask about having a home-cooked meal one night during your visit - it is a 5-course gourmet delight, with many ingredients straight from the garden. We would love to return!

Merci .... what else to say .... good resumé of your stay at home in the village of Ruch. We confirm that for the dinner we are using local products and of course all the products form our garden . So diner is ready .. :)

2 months in Europe and we placed our stay there up in the top three most enjoyable experiences (hard to beat front row standing to Eric Clapton Hyde Park Concert)
Once you entered the car park, you were engulfed by the 'French Experience"
David & Alain were 5 Star Hosts and all that they offered, our room, our meals and the ambiance of the guest house and surrounds were 5+ Stars.
So close to Saint Emillon and many other wineries

Fabulous find. Here with a group of friends attending a wedding. The hosts David and Alain are delightful. Our rooms were nice. My husband and I were in groundfloor room with a wet room. The rest of our group were in a gite with a large kitchen.
The garden is beautiful with a crystal clear swimming pool (82 degrees). A welcome dip after a hot day out. The region is beautiful. A visit to St Emellion is a must. We ate dinner 2 nights cooked by David - excellent!
Constructive criticism - a croissant for breakfast would be nice ( we enjoyed the yogurt and surprises) and please invest in nice towels - too small and a bit rough for the girlies!
All in all fabulous. My husband and I will be back to stay and to explore this beautiful region

Our stay with Alain and David was marvelous. I wish we could have stay there longer!
Beautiful and quiet property. Very well appointed room. Attention to details.
Worth the detour.
The dinner was fabulous as well made with ingredients from their garden!
We will be back! Best host ever.
