We were here for one night. The hotel is situated in the middle of the Altstadt. Parking is a couple of blocks away. The city center is nothing special, especially compared to other German cities. Our room was in the back of the hotel. It was small, but acceptable. It was very warm and there is no AC. The small fan could not cool enough. Beds were comfortable. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is great, with lot of choices. We found the hotel nice, but with €92 + €9,50 per person for the breakfast, it was way overpriced.
A small but excellent accommodation. very cozy , clean and well appointed room. Adler am Schloss is located approximately two hour thirty minutes drive from Frankfurt. A very efficient . smiling and non obtrusive staff care for you. Excellent simple breakfast can be enjoyed in the morning tranquility in the clean environs.
The entire Boennigheim village and the surrounding area is a wine country that is plush green clean and very tidy. picture post card village scene welcomes you. Unwind and relax in this special hotel
Love the restaurant in this hotel. A real gourmet experience. You have to book a table here. Make sure you get a room in the same building as the restaurant. Otherwise they take you to a nearby building across the street. I found the sleeping quality was good in this side building, but nothing special and the building is not particularly nice. Since we only spent one night there on our way to the technology museum in Sinsheim, we didn't mind much. But I won't recommend a longer stay.
This hotel had great staff that could use English , manager very helpful, right next to the Schloss.
My room was great clean, good bed, great bathroom all new inside, clean well worth the money.
The restaurant is gourmet with very good food an experience that surprised me but the best food of the whole trip.
Boennigheim is a great place to wander an experience cobble stone streets friendly people and
Good art museum
Quiet good night sleep worth every penny or should I say euro. Go to Adler am Schloss.
We booked this hotel because we had a business appointment not far away from the hotel. Not sure what we should expect after seeing there is no rating on tripadvisor and the hotel price per room pretty low (68 EUR per night). We were pleasently surprised. We were in the second house which is a 5 min walk from the main building but still nice - rooms 1 and 5.
What we liked
- in the heart of the town with lots of restaurants around it
- quiet rooms and large beds
- modern showers
- breakfast included
- Wifi included and pretty fast and not limited to one computer
What we did not like
- restaurant with lovely patio closed on Sundays and Mondays
- Breakfast lady was rude by trying to push us out as fast as possibe so she can clean
- Parking nearby complicated because of the narrow setup of the town
We would stay here again when in town.
