This hotel is located very close to the beach, not exactly next to it, but takes only 3 minutes walk to be on the beach. We had a normal room, not superior. The air conditioning is extra cost, 7 EUR per night. The wifi is also additional cost, I did not buy it, but 15 EUR/week. The breakfast is fresh, but only 1-2 kinds of food is available, I ate the same the whole week, at least you don't need to go to the shop every morning. No option for early breakfast if you leave early for a program. I did not try dinner, but it is possible to buy that too. The rooms are clean, they come in every day. We had a balcony looking to the sea, but not directly, there is another hotel in front. You can still see some water at the sides. The room is quite small with old furniture, but I do not need much. The beds are comfortable. At night the place is noisy as there is an Elvis bar close to this hotel, you can hear the music at night. I sleep with earplugs anyway. The hotel has a swimming pool, many people liked it, I only went to the sea so I don't know. Sometimes the water in the bathroom was not exactly hot and you need to bring your own hair dryer. All in all this is not a very high quality place but for one week I was OK with it and being so close to the beach is a huge plus.
The hotel is old and shoddy. When you book on the tripadvisor site, there is a photo of a room and that is what you expect to get.But that isn't the case. In reality, the rooms are dated and run down. The furniture and the beds are old and not very clean. There isn't a chest of drawers in the room so you have to keep all the clothing in the suitcase or in your bag. The closet was dirty and we had no wish to hang anything inside. The showers made an enormous amount of noise and could probably wake your neighbour. There was a small fridge in the room but it was placed on a small table and I still don't understand why. We were very disappointed with the hotel and the staff were not even pleasant and made no effort to find a solution. I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stayed here for 5 days with my wife and friends, we attended a local wedding and this hotel was perfect for our budget. Room was OK although slats on bed kept falling off and we had to replace them several times. Small balcony but you get what you pay for.
Drinks at hotel bar 1.80 euros for local wine which my wife very much enjoyed. 3.00 euros for 500ml mythos lager 5% very reasonable although 100 metres and your in the village and local beer is from 2.00 euros. Cocktails from 4.00 and very good.
From hotel head into opposite direction for about 100 metres and your on the beach and plenty of eateries within 5 metres of the sea. All in all for our purpose this hotel was good.
One of the WORST hotel experiences ever. An extra bed jammed into a tiny double room was called a triple. Lock on room door was push button bathroom-style lock and flimsey; the lock on the balcony door was broken. Glass in balcony door was cracked. No screens on windows so RAVENOUS mosquitoes prevented us from sleeping. Covers musty, sheets cheap, mattresses rock hard, pillows ancient and lumpy. Fridge rusted. A/C unit needed key to unlock. Bathroom: cracked sink, dirty shower stall, shower was a length of hose and nowhere to hook it. No complimentary soaps, but 2 tiny crusty old soaps from the previous guests left on sink! Food was nasty, cheap and mostly inedible. Old lady policed how much you ate from buffet. The manager was the NASTIEST, RUDEST man; any request, even a cup of hot water, was met with a "no" unless you paid extra. An example of the cheapness; a large tea urn contained just a 4 or 5 tea bags so the resulting liquid was tasteless. The coffee was brown water. Jam was neon chemical gloop. STAY AWAY.
Purchased this holiday with Thomas Cook as a 3 Star hotel it was actually 2 Star when we arrived. Flew out with Thomas cook, 18-30 hol revelers were served alcohol which resulted in a fight, cans of beer being shaken up in toilets, food being thrown around in the passenger area and someone urinating in a bottle and leaving in the gangway, Although not the stewards fault they did little.
Arrived at the hotel at 4am to find that the hotel was 2 star not 3 as described ( mis sold by Thomas cook ). No lifts so had to carry cases up two flights of stairs to room. the room was small furniture quite old and mattresses should have been thrown out three years ago at least. the view from our balcony at least was excellent. The air con was 7e a day which should have been free. we arrived at breakfast the following morning and were gob-smacked to find bread and jam just cornflakes tea coffee diluted orange juice some lettuce/cucumber and tined ham.
Rep did not turn up to welcome meet at posted time, no welcome pack. Phoned rep and arranged to meet him next day where we were told that this hotel was a overspill hotel for late bookers and the contract with the hotel had already been terminated at the end of august ( not told any of this when booking ) requested a move to another hotel but had to pay own taxi and upgrade fee ( not on ).
Evening meal is a set menu, no choice at all. the meal is just put in front of you. If you do not like it hard luck. Portions small so spent a fortune on top up food after meals.
Bed sheet change after one week. Swimming pool small but pleasant, although no cushions to go on loungers and no drinks or food by pool allowed, which was just as well because the outside snack bar didn't open in the two weeks that we were there.
Location although was great, a short walk to the lovely beach and many little shops to browse around.
Came home tanned but instead of gaining weight, we lost it. Sorry two tinned pineapple rings for pudding or three pieces of melon just not enough.
We had a good holiday because we made it that way, but beware Thomas cook are not the quality suppliers you think they are. Have had better hotels from the small cheap company's before now.
