Great spot to spend the night. Room is a little dated but everything was spotless. The hotel has a licensed dining room that serves basic but tasty homemade meals. The restaurant serves only beer, no wine.
Dated but clean, and set in a stunning place with great views in every direction. It's a cheap motel, but my room was spotless, and it has an attached restaurant with a liquor license. The pan fried cod tongues were excellent! Perfect for a one night stay on the fly, or a home base for trips into the Chic Choc mountains imo. I would stay there again.
This was a very pleasant room; it had been renovated sometime in the last 3-5 years. The Wi-Fi was a little week but sometime it is good not to be connected and just enjoy the area. The location is right across from the Atlantic and the sunset was great. A little older but very nice.
The room was not clean and the coffee machine was really disgusting. The personal was not polite. The restaurant closes very early, at 8 PM, and the food is average. The only good thing is the scenery. I don't recommend this motel, not even for one night.
The scenery here is breathtaking, everything I had read about. I saw a seal swim out of the ocean and lay on the beach. I found $82 for a single room a bit steep so skipped the restaurant and bought food at a grocery store just down the street. I was also annoyed that the sign said breakfast was free for construction workers. The coffeemaker is complete crap. The room was spotless but very noisy, I could hear every word my neighbors said at 5 am as they were getting ready to go hunting. The manager could have done a better job of placing early risers together.
