The hotel location is excellent, only a 5 minute walk from the cable car and gondola. The staff was very friendly and went to great lengths to find us a ski guide at short notice. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also ate in the restaurant on both nights we were there and the food was exceptionally good, highly recommended! Overall, a very good experience, we will most likely be back in spring

The location is just outside the cutsy old part of town, which is nice. The room and bathroom were small, but very modern and clean. The restaurant was excellent. In short, this provided just what a hotel should provide, nothing more, nothing less.

We stayed here one night while hiking haute route. The first room my husband couldn’t get through doorways due to low beams. This was on the top floor. Beds were soft. Breakfast was good- no gluten free bread. Had soft boiled eggs and yogurt cheeses.
Room was clean and small. Dinner was good here. Loved the chanterelle mushrooms with the lamb.

Stayed with partner as part of a group ski week on a half-board basis. Our third time here and Grimentz never disappoints. The hotel is small, friendly and comfortable. The food is very good and varied with plenty of vegetables. The kitchen accommodates vegetarians and food intolerances and the waiting staff are very friendly. The ski room is small and basic but fine for our needs. A nice touch in our room was a pull-out drying rack over the bathroom towel radiator. Very useful for damp ski clothes and gloves. Kettles in rooms would be a welcome addition. Overall a great stay and we will no doubt be back!
