First things first -- this place is very hard to find, even with GPS. Drove right past it 2-3 times without realizing it, and the iPhone was telling us it was on a different street.
Very modern and up to date inside. But, this is a rural location -- the stench of pig manure within a half mile or so was overwhelming when we first arrived. It dissipated after a while. The balcony in our room overlooked a field of fresh-mown hay.
The windows have no screens, and there's no air conditioning, so if you don't want bugs, don't stay here. The bathroom in our room had a very bad smell.
The beds - typical German arrangement, with two singles pushed together instead of one double or queen size. As a result, the beds easily slide apart, and the mattresses slide on their base. My wife fell on the floor when she rolled onto 6-8 inches of mattress that were completely off the base.
The food in the restaurant was excellent.
There must be very few English-speaking tourists that visit this area. Only one person on the hotel staff speaks any English, the food menus have very limited English descriptions, and we could only find one English language brochure for any of the local tourist attractions, museums, etc.
