Mkilburn9's City Tips

  • Dedicate at least one day for history tours. Either self tours, or paid.
  • plan on going with an empty stomach and leaving with a full stomach.
  • Utilize public transportation over cabs. Trains will take you everywhere you need to go. Cabs will end up costing you more money.
  • Pack good walking/running shoes. Easier to get around the downtown area by walking than cabs.

Here is the home of the first sports bar, and the Dropkick Murphys. You will be delighted with alot of local sports history, as well as great food and atmosphere. This is a great spot to watch a sporting event, or just stop in for a beer and food. You may also be lucky enough to run into Ken Casy, lead singer of the Dropkick Murhpys and bar owner. I make sure I go here everytime i am in the city.
