If you want a good chocolate fix Koko Black will fit the bill. The upstairs is a coffee, hot chocolate café with lots of things to appease a sweet tooth. Staff are very helpful.
This is a spot for a cold beer, glass of wine and some tapas on a sunny afternoon / evening. Right on the lake and they provide blankets if you get chilly.
Botswana is excellent. The staff is very helpful and the wine list and super. The tables are not too close together so you can have an intimate meal and it is not noisy.
This hotel is so comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are good size. Perfect location as it is in town and not up a steep hill.
The gardens are lovely and a perfect place to take in the scenery around the town. Nice and quiet and an excellent walk around the lake. There are beautiful trees and plants and also a "Disc Golf" course which is really fun!
The restaurant has the perfect view of the lake at sunset. It also has a seasonal menu which is good and they use a lot of the local produce.
Gantleys has one of the most beautiful buildings in Queenstown area. The restaurant is quiet and staff very helpful Great wine list.
Lovely hotel and great view from the lakeside rooms. Very helpful staff.
Excellent quick meal and a good family restaurant. Southwest USA food I think. Tasted fresh and service was prompt.
This is a must do! You don't get a better view of Queenstown - other than from a balloon - than this.
A hike or tramp that is well worth the time. Beautiful views of the mountains and valley and some great pictures to be taken on the walk.
This is best in the summer and you can have some great views of the surrounding area. It is not real difficult but it does require some strength
This is a beautiful track and some stunning scenery. Not too difficult though.
One of the best wine tours we have ever been on. The guides are knowledgeable and very friendly and the groups we have been on (twice) have been small so it is very intimate.
This walk is fairly level and easy but gives you a good selection of native trees and plants as well as a great view of the lake
The name says it all - Steak House - one of the best steak houses in the area. Good service and excellent wine list.
No. 5 has one of the best breakfasts in town. The tapas at dinner is also excellent if you don't want a big meal. Staff are very helpful and can make suggestions for the choices available.
This is a cycle trail and I must admit I have not done this - but friends have and certainly raved about the trail. They said it was beautiful, challenging and great fun.
Finz has excellent fish dishes and a good selection of NZ wines to match. Service is good. Be aware that the tables are fairly close together but it is not very noisy.
