Brussels is a wonderful city, easily explored by foot or by one of the many trams. The food and beer is excellent and the people very friendly. Whatever your budget there is plenty to do in the home of the European parliament, from history to chocolate.

This is a wonderful place for everyone in the summer. There is a great mix of open grassy areas and shaded areas to escape the heat. Close to Mont des Artes and the Royal Palace, this little oasis in the city is worth a visit. With a nice mix of tourists and locals it is a place to stop and soak up the atmosphere of Brussels, away from the hustle and bustle of Grand-Place.

This is a great place, especially if you want to see a bit more to the history of Brussels. The museum, an imposing looking building on Grand Place has some interesting exhibits. However the main highlight are the costumes for the Mannekin pis. Certainly worth a visit to see how many there are and to admire the work that goes into them.

Well this is a nice little museum tucked away on Grand place. It is not accessible due to stairs down into the building however. Inside there are three rooms. One which is decked out as a historical pub, another which is modern and has displays on the brewing process and a third which is a bar. The bar is where you will be given a free pint, which makes the visit more worthwhile.
