Scotney gardens and house is free to national trust members. They ask you if you want to visit the house. I think in busy periods they may time the visit to the house. I try to get there for 10 when it opens to avoid the rush but of course midweek and now is not such a busy time anyway. It is a lovely place. I would suggest you go into Lamberhurst if you want to have more than a cuppa or a coffee. Two good and popular pubs.

As all have stated , it is free for n t members when you produce your card.

Personally I found the staff and room guardians most informative and only too willing to advise . I highly recommend.

Hi Scotney Castle is free to National Trust members, but you have to collect a timed ticket for the house due to its size - narrow corridors and small room spaces. I trust this information is helpful.
