If we have two 7o year olds and a warm water Floridan (33years) with no diving experience- can we snorkel to the Under Water Museum?? on March 3
I believe the museum is up to 15m deep, so it would be possible to see it from above on a clear day, but best to check with the museum direct.
The most important thing to remember when diving is fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions, eg heart-related, epilepsy, panic attacks etc.) This is not just about age as my brother-in-law had some heart related problems so was asked to provide medical evidence of fitness. This prevented him from diving with my niece even though both had no previous experience. I had to ask back in October whether I could dive as I hadn't done so for a number of years and had suffered with depression. This was ok but didn't go too deep. The biggest problem I found was buoyancy which if you're not used to "the kit" will create problems.
Hope you enjoy the dive. Once you're down there it's fascinating. Just watch out for the black sea urchins. They sting so ask for some gloves.
