Is there an indoor viewing area? I don't want to be outside
Thank you for your inquiry! While our 86th-floor Observatory is open-air, our 102nd-floor Observatory is completely enclosed. Please note, in order to gain access to the 102nd-floor Observatory, please select the “Main and Top Deck” ticket from our site. You can also upgrade to the 102nd floor from your regular main deck ticket within our building, but we do recommend getting the Main and Top Deck ticket off our site to avoid ticketing lines within the building. We look forward to your visit!

Yes, there is one. You don’t need to go outside if you don’t want to.
There is an indoor view on the 80th floor, but you cannot compare the experience of the 86th observatory.
Hi!Yes!!! Floors 80th and 102nd are fully indoors. However, you should not be worried at all if you decide to visit the 86th floor, which is “outdoor”, namely, consists in a balcony with high bars protections, on which people walk through. So, it is very but very protected&safe! The EB accessible areas are all “Indoor or outdoor” accessible! even for my husband, who definitely dislikes almost hates tall buildings and I never made it to bring him to the top of Eiffel Tower which is smaller than EB of 187ft (Eiffel is 1,063ft
Empire is 1,250ft)! I hope I helped you!
