Hi - planning to buy a lesson for my husband for his birthday but can't decide whether to go for 30 min or 60 min flight time lesson. Wondering if 60 min might be too long? Can you expand on what you do in the two options. Many thanks
Thanks for your question. We are quite flexible in what can be done on the 2 options and will try to customise the experience to allow the customer to get what they want out of it. Some customers only want to have a quick go on the controls and fly over somewhere they know (if he wants to fly over Melton Mowbray I would recommend an hour, 30 minutes wouldn't allow for much time near Melton Mowbray before having to turn back), whereas others want to have as much of a go on the controls as possible. It really depends on what he would like out of the experience. If you think he would be interested in taking the controls for a fair amount of time, the hour obviously allows us a lot more time and it wouldn't feel as rushed, but if it's just the experience of being in a helicopter, 30 minutes might be more suitable. Having said that I don't think anyone has got bored flying a helicopter for an hour!
I hope this helps.
