How are the gardens in the last week of March? Is it leafed out?
We predict that our cherry trees will blossom soon, in the last days of March or likely into early April depending on weather. Other flowering plants, like camellias, are beginning to bloom now also. Leaves have not appeared on our deciduous trees yet, but we do see many buds. As mentioned by others, blossoming and leafing out here is slightly delayed compared to the rest of the city due to the higher altitude of our location here in Washington Park.
Honestly gorgeous. We went yesterday and found it breathtaking.
not sure .... I was visiting from Miami .... I'm not form Portland
It's still early spring here now and nothing is leafed out. In a couple of weeks, there may be buds but I wouldn't expect much more than that. The gardens are at a higher elevation than most of the city. Call the gardens for more specific info.
I was visiting Portland, I can not answer your question honestly. You might call them for the correct answer.
I am sorry I do not know. I would contact the gardens directly due to the crazy weather this year.
