Paradise Cove Resort Questions & Answers

Denver, Pennsylvania

Please help... I’m trying to decide where to stay during our first trip to Fiji in late April 2018 and am flying a long way from the eastern US to get there. Right now we are staying at the Tokoriki Beach Resort the last 3 nights and on the main island the 1st night to zip line and possibly due 1 more excursion. That leaves 5 nights in-between and I think Paradise cove and Lomani Island Resort are the top 2 finals for value & location.

What am I looking for? Beachfront as close to beautiful water as possible. Waves!!! (I realize I may need to travel to see them & although not a surfer would like to watch and even swim in them) eg if I can get to cloud 9 or cloud break that is good enough. Pristine beach with amazing water ... to swim snorkel and possibly a dive. Great food (super picky eater), tv in the room in case of bad weather and at night, extremely clean room with a supportive bed & private bath. I don’t care about alcohol as I’m a lightweight. Options on meal plans (if any)... like good coffee and options at breakfast and dinner. I hear Castaway and Blue lagoon are nice but I read mixed reviews. I believe the currency rate is in my favor but money is still a consideration. If it says 5 stars and costs 400-600 USD a night ideally I’d like to get what I pay for. The more free activities they offer the better, or at least many types of excursions the better.

It’s just me (48) and my friend (31) who are are going, so all couples would be a bit of a downer, but all adults or families is just fine. A spa, clean warm pools and a lazy river or hot tubs plus beautiful sunsets are a must. Ideally Tripadvisior and other awards are a bonus. And room service would be a treat.

I am not against the Yasawa islands which is why I picked Tokoriki the last 3 nights since its somewhat close. ** Open to other suggestions.

THANK YOU

Ps would I be better off staying at the Marriott on main island? I don’t want to miss out on the best of FIJI but I do want to have a truly wonderful clean resort.

Pools in the Pacific during winter months are not warm, the sea around Fiji tends to be warmer due to large exposed sand bars. TV , it's the Islands, so not much live feed available on most resort islands. Consider booking a few nights on a resort island, then return to a Denerau Resort for a day or so, then try a new Island resort for a different experience.

Paradise cove offers amazing beach front accomodation with your own private beach lounges. The water is clean and warm and the snorkeling is good. Snorkeling with Manta Rays is also on offer at a reasonable price. Lots of other activities available.

There are small waves that you can hear on the beach - but because the islands are surrounded by reefs, don’t expect great surf.

paradise cove offers an adults only area that is really nice if you want to get away from the main resort pool area. You can also have meals served there.

Food options are very very good - lots of choices and the dinner menu changes every 2 days. Lunch has daily specials in addition to the set menu.

Showers are outdoors in a beautiful secluded outdoor area of your accomodation. Wash basins and toilet is under cover.

This place is very nice.
