We both have limited mobility - but do not use wheelchairs. Do you have either ground floor or easy access rooms. Just to be more difficult we would love a bath (for my wife) and a shower for me. We would love to stay for a week or so which is the reason for my question.
On a different point we have found it very refreshing to see the trouble taken by you to answer travellers comments.
There are many rooms on the ground floor all with views of the harbour and all rooms were spacious. Our room had a bath with a shower above but I am not sure if any of the rooms had a separate shower. Please be aware that the hotel is situated off the main road up a short but steep hill so you may need a car to access the hotel but well worth it, tremendous hotel.
Agree with both the above. It's a very spacious hotel and the staff are very helpful. You definitely need a car. I could have watched the view from the windows for days. Enjoy.
You should be aware it's a steep drive up to the lodge so you will need to drive to go anywhere (including Lochinver village). Other than that from memory the ground floor had no steps throughout. There's also such fantastic views from the hotel it's a nice genteel place to relax.
We were there last month and highly recommend the hotel. We had a ground floor room which was lovely. The bathroom was large. You will enjoy this place. By the way, the breakfast is amazing.
We have visited the Inver Lodge several times and would certainly recommend it. I agree with all the above answers, we had a ground floor room on our latest visit and the reception area, restaurant etc are all on the level. Such a lovely area with so much to see.
We had a ground floor room near reception & lounge which would be no problem for you both - no steps at all. Our room only had a shower but it had a freestanding stool in the shower which might help.
Hope this helps.
They do have ground floor accommodate and a brilliant bath. Although you have to climb into it. I would email the accommodation directly as I am sure they will be more than happy to help you. Thanks for your kind words.
