On the website states that no child under 12 yrs old is allowed! Do I have to take a passport as proof of age for my Son? Or they don't look at ID?
I don't remember having to show ID sorry, but sounds like it would be a good idea to take it.
No Id is needed. But you are not allow to touch the glass or the frame set around the display. I guess that is why they have an age limit. They are very serious about no touching of any display cases.
I don't remember kids in the museum :(
l don`t know about the age limit,i don`t think so the passport is necesary!:-) i cant remember.
My cousin was 12 but looked younger , they just ask her age, no ID was needed from her, she looked more 9nish
I took my little cousin who was about12 but looked even younger, they just asked how old she was, and that was about it, but no touching the glasses because the alarm starts making some noise but every time I was there the Aram made noises so no worries, it seems people keep making that mistake all the time.
Yes it’s better to take his ID because they are being so strict about this age issue.
As far as I can remember, they don't check your id. You just pay fee and leave your bag including phone and camera at cloakroom. But in your case, you might rather bring your son's passport with you to prove his age if he looks under aged.
As far as I remember they didn't crosschecked our ID.
If you are staying in a hotel, the hotel keeps your passport until check-out. So you may not be able to use it as proof of age. I do not know if ages are checked for children. Best to make a copy of the information page and visa if he needed one of his passport and take it with you. I saw no children when I was there. I expect a boy might well be bored!
I really do not remember. Just bring the passport in case.
Have a nice visit.
Gosh, I don’t know. We were all adults so I was not aware of the restriction. I would carry the document just to be sure. It’s fabulous and I’m sure your child would enjoy it. Especially the jewelled globe.
Hi Many thanks for the quick reply. Do you remember any young kids in the museum?
