Onsen Hot Pools Retreat & Day Spa Questions & Answers

Sydney, Australia

Hello,

I am interested in going to the pools at night with the lanterns, however do you still get to see much of the view at this time?

Secondly, how far in advance does one usually have to book - we will only be in Queenstown for about three nights in August so we want to make sure we don't miss out!

Kind regards,

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

The sunset in August does vary, we'll be in peak winter by the beginning of August so our evening 'Lantern' sessions will start from 5pm onward.

If you truly want the best experience along with views and stars, we always advise that you book in for a sunset session, this will give you a sort of twilight transition, again, this will all depend on what time in August you were wanting to visit.

We are one of the most popular activities to do during winter, so we always advise to book in advance to get your desired pool session.

If you head to our website, the reservation team can be contacted directly to help you out further.

Kindest Regards,

Jess

Book as soon as you can for sunset. We were only in Queenstown for a week and were able to book in for the afternoon. It missed the sunset. My friend had been at sunset and said it was much more spectacular
