Whakarewarewa - The Living Maori Village Questions & Answers

Norwich England

Hi I have problem walking and standing for more than 5 minutes at a time are there mobility scooters and or wheel chairs available to use at the Living Maori village or do you need to bring your own? Can mobility scooters be hired for holiday use in New Zealand?

Yes, we have x2 wheelchairs available for free use for our guests! Yes, you can hire mobility scooters in NZ, don't know the ins and outs though - you are best to look into this independently. Thanks.

Kia ora, thank you for your question. The wheelchair is available to use in our village. You can borrow it from our admission. I am not sure mobility scooters can be hired or not for holiday use in Nz.

Hope it helps.
