We swam at Berry Springs in July and it was on a Monday we saw a notice on the Friday when we got home saying they had caught a 1.6 meter crocodile at the very spot we had been swimming in. They closed Berry Springs whilst they removed the crocodile and reopened it once they where sure it was safe to use again. There where heaps of people swimming there when we where there Im sure they keep a pretty good lookout for any crocs because so many go there.

Hi City,

They guarantee no Crocs when checked after the 'Wet' and the area is monitored so is considered safe. The place is so popular I don't believe they have ever had a problem. But there are public health warnings up re the water quality (ear, throat etc) which is more of a worry ??

Skeney.
