London, United Kingdom

Hello! Can I ask you if you think that a 3 years old would be able to enjoy a trip to the waterfalls? Thanks a million to whoever will answer!

Yea I think this is definitely possible. You may at the end have to carry them up or down stairs depending on how tired they are but as far as the water levels go it’s actually perfect for a toddler to sit in and relax :)

Yes - easy walk up to the front area - a few steps to take as well as grass areas

Yes, I do feel like a child that age could enjoy the climb with assistance from a parent. Our family of 5 all wore Keen sandals which gripped the falls very well, and I’d recommend them in general for a trip to Thailand. Have fun!

I don't think a 3 year old can climb up and down the falls safely BUT you can use the stairs on the side to go up and down the waterfalles without climbing and from the stairs access some of the waterfalls without having to do the dangerours climbing. You can let him/her do some climbing in the easier and less risky parts.

Yes absolutely but really take care as some parts of the rocks are slippery.

Hmm that is a tough question to answer. I guess it really depends on how adventurous your 3y/o is. The water falls at the very bottom have ropes because they are steep but about half way up there aren't any ropes and a child would easily be able to climb. But like I said, it depends all on how adventurous your child is. Hope this helps!

Hey, difficult Q! There were families there, the youngest I saw was probably 5ish. Very much depends on your little one, if they're an outdoorsy water baby they'd probs love it. Take a picnic and you could probably enjoy the day (or at least half a day!) there. The rocks are great, not slippery at all so thats fine. Just bare in mind its quite a journey to get there... it took us about an hour from chiang mai and was quite a busy, bumpy road and it does get very very busy. Hope that helps a little :)
