Where is the best place to park for lower castle park
It depends on which direction you approach from, but if your route is up East Hill (from the Harwich, Ipswich or Clacton direction, head up towards the bottom of the High Street (with Hollytrees Museum and then the War Memorial, on your right), follow the road left at the traffic lights, down Queen Street and turn 2nd left into Priory Street to the long car park there ( just under the old town wall). Ticket machines will display the charges. For Lower Castle Park on foot, retrace your route back up Queen Street, to the War Memorial and across into Upper Castle Park, take any of the paths down the hill behind the Castle through the park gardens, to where Lower Castle Park lies at the bottom.
There is also the Nunns Road Car Park (behind North Hill), which is closer, but I have never used that one. Hope those help!
Go to St Botolphs roundabout near Colchester Town station and there is a large car park "Britannia". Press special offer on machine for £2.50 for 4 hours parking. Castle Park is 5 minutes walk
In all honesty I really don't know as not from the area. However where we were told to park was great as it was behind a leisure complex and you just walked through to the park and from the park into town - the day we went the car parking was free - Sorry to be so vague but would really recommend going my little boy who is 2 loved it
There are many places Serpentine Walk behind fire station. St Peters St. Or if you can walk then Middleborough car park nice walk along the river.. Unsure if you can use Super Bowl without a purchase or charge Again if you walk there is always williams and griffins park on open area short walk to park.
Just off the bottom of East Hill, there's a housing estate. There is a school, so restricted at pickup/drop off times
