Tsangarides Winery Questions & Answers

Ipswich, United Kingdom

Hello we would like to go to this winery but do not want to drive as we would like to sample the wines. Do you know if there are coach trips to take you there from kato paphos/tomb of the kings area? If not any taxis?

thanks

Tsangarides is our favourite winery. It is owned and run by Angelo Tsangarides who will, more than likely talk to you about his winery, and the whole process. I would not advise trying to get there by any other means than by car. Leave Paphos on the Polis Road, and once you have climbed out of Paphos take a right turn to Tsada and Letympou. Follow that road for some while and you will come across signs for Tsangarides - keep you eyes open, they are not the clearest of signs. A taxi would cost at least 50 euros, so hire a car for the day, and have a designated driver. The wines are good. Sorry for delay in reply. Try the Letympou Tavern for lunch.

Hi,not really sure on the answer,it is quite a way out & up towards the mountains.I'm sure you could get a taxi but have no idea how much it would cost.We hired a car.you are only sampling so you don't drink that much wine.

Not that I'm aware of. This place isn't really on the package tourist trail. You can get organised trips to biggerwinerys. Lemona is very remote and a taxi would be pricey there and back. Car hire is very cheap in Cyprus so I would recommend doing that
